Music!  It was the first thing she heard as her mind came back to her.  Music and laughter, loud talking and the soft patter of feet setting it's own rhythm to the beat.  But it wasn't gaiety that kept her eyes firmly closed, but fear.  Fear, because the voices beside her were discussing her and what they had just done.  Suppressing the urge to cry or even shudder, she lay still as she listened quietly.

"Their security is almost non existent, it was far too easy to get in and out of there." a mans soft voice said over the din.

"Not only was the child running freely through the Palace, no one was watching her, in fact, other than the maids, it seemed as if the place was abandoned." the same soft voice said and a muffled laughter could be heard.

"Have they been notified?" This time a womans voice asked.

"The prepared missive was sent immediately to Donghua Di Jun, and according to our scout, The War God had also arrived with his wife, the girls Aunt." a deep husky voice said directly behind her.

"Then we can safely assume at least one if not all three should be here within the hour."  A different voice said as rustling could be heard from the side and then a greeting of welcome as someone important entered.

"MY Lord, she is here." the same soft voice said as the sound of footsteps grew closer.  But the moment they stopped she involuntarily shuddered.  Lord, meant that whoever was just addressed was the reason for her presence, but before she could dwell on it further, she suddenly felt herself being roughly forced to her feet.

Releasing a high pitched squeal, her eyes opened in a blink, and not being given time to take in where she was or who was holding her so tightly,  she was shoved violently into the lap of man so huge, the fear that had risen was almost enough to knock her out again.

Looking straight back at the one who had thrown her off her feet, she swallowed hard.  Having seen a painting of him that Di Jun held in his records, she knew in an instant who the the man was and as Qing Cang looked back at her, the fear that raged through her eyes was almost blinding.

"Prepare her."he sneered down at the quivering girl, before turning away to issue orders to the men behind him.

Suddenly the music stilled and the dancing women she caught a quick glimpse of, bowed out of the room, as the man that was now holding onto her, forced her off his lap, sending her sprawling across the floor in front of him.

No matter how fearful she was, or how much trouble she knew she was in, all reason left her as she turned her head towards him as she watched him rise above her.  She remembered instantly his face, the Black Bears King and he was a giant of a man, but she no longer cared.

Calling forward her energy, she realized she had no power in the Ghost Realm, all of her magical abilities were suppressed, this much she understood.  But her Aunt had taught her a little of her music magic, and she knew just enough to latch onto the mans tone, and with a quick spell, the man was thrown backwards onto his back.  If I'm going to die, then I'll die fighting, she thought to herself as the fight in her suddenly erupted.

It was all that she could manage having no magical essence and nothing else going for her.   At least I can do that, she thought to herself, knowing she only had to repeat it over and over again, without losing any energy,  and with him now on the ground, stumbling to regain his feet, she literally threw it again and herself with it.

Landing on his giant head, Feng Jiu grabbed as much of his hair as she could in one hand and pulled hard.  With the other hand, she raked her nails across his face which instantly brought stream of fresh blood to the surface of his skin and a roar as the man staggered to his feet bringing her with him.  Holding on tightly, the small body fully covered his head and face, but she was oblivious to the movement as fear and anger took every rational thought from her mind.
