The meeting as what anybody would call 'pointless.' Antarctica thought it was very interesting learned so much about everyone, and it kind of made her excited. Once it was time to leave, Aura got up, and Japan had waved bye to her, and had been dragged away by the axis. She managed to get out of the room, and out the door into the large city.
"Oh no, where are the docks? How long was that meeting, um, 3 hours?! I'm never gonna find it." She looked around and panicked. The city was full of people left and right. She decided to go look for it herself. She walked up the street, getting a few glances from passersby, because she didn't fit in. She also looked confused, so that didn't help. She was lost, definitely, she at least remembered there were no bright signs or moving pictures, or an intersection that went 8 different ways. She was REALLY lost now. And it was starting to get dark, too.
Suddenly a tap was felt on her shoulder. "Antarctica? What are you doing here?" Aura turned around immediately and saw America. "I was looking around for my boat at the docks, and I'm very lost. Could you please help me?" She asked.
He smiled, "Sure, dude, and don't worry, this is New York City, one of the busiest places ever, yo!" Aura smiled. They began to walk in the opposite direction she went, they even went PAST the building where the meeting was held! 'Of course,' she thought.
She could see her boat, thank gosh!! "Here we are!" "Thank you so much! I have such a terrible sense of direction, sadly. I couldn't have gotten here without you!" She hugged him, making him blush a bit. "It's cool, dude. We should totally hang out sometime!" He said happily.
"Alright! You might not like my place, though. There's nothing special there, except a couple things." She said a little sad.
"Aww, it'll be fun, bra!" He waved as she pulled her boat out of the docks.
"See you sometime, then! Goodbye!" She waved. Aura sped all the way down to Antarctica, which took HOURS! It was early in the morning by the time she got to her house.
The coldest temperatures are at night, and she started to feel bad like she does every so often. She put on her pjs, a white tank top and baggy blue pants that were HUGE on her, and laid down on her bed, sniffling a bit. "I did it.. I met some of the big-name countries!" She said happily. And went to sleep.
She got up at around 11 in the morning to footsteps coming from downstairs. She groggily put a blanket around her shoulders, and picked up her stick she used for hiking around her country, just in case she needed protection. She went downstairs to find the front door closed like normal, but snow still on the ground like somebody left tracks going into the living room.
She started going in the room, quiet as a mouse, before she sneezed. Even though it was small and cute, it was enough to frighten the person in the next room, who thought they were alone.
Out came America..and Russia?! "Hey, dude, there you are!"
She, still groggy, replied "Yeah. It's so early, what are you guys doing here?"
America looked a little sad, "You said I could come visit you, remember?"
"I know, but I didn't think you meant today. It must have taken you guys hours to get here." She said. "Not long, da." Russia said. Aura sneezed. "Todays not the best day, honestly. It's one of those days I have a cold. I don't want you guys to catch it."
"You should go lay down and rest, da," Russia noted.
"Then I wouldn't be a very good host, now would I?" She sneezed again.
"Dude, your health is more important. Besides, we both have ports around here, so it won't be like you're keeping us here." America said nicely.
"Why are you two here together, though, I thought you didn't like each other..." Aura sniffled.
They looked at each other for a split second, and said, "Because I want to be your big brother." They said in unison, except Russia added a 'da' at the end.
"Seriously? That's cool, I guess... But I can't think straight, my head hurts too much. You may want to leave, before you catch it." Aura said trying to be gentle.
"Okay.." They said and they actually left. Although Antarctica was positive she heard the two yelling at each other outside.
America must have spread the word about Aura getting sick, because there were many voices coming from outside her house soon. Good thing she had already fallen asleep in her room before others started to show up.
