She won't come back again. Jun thought to himself as he strummed a few chords on his ukulele.

The only reason she spoke to me was out of pitty.

The chords broke into a full song as he lightly hummed to it.

Why else would she have spoken to him?

His eyebrows creased in frustration as he continued strumming, slowly getting more violent.

"Hello Jun."

The ukulele made a 'ping' sounds as his thingers slipped mid strum.

She was stood in front of him.

Again.

"Mind if I sit?"

He had now put the ukulele down to his side.

"S-sure." It came out as more of a squeak as he looked down into his lap, fiddling with his sleeves.

Why was she back? Surely after meeting him she would've stayed away.

She plops down next to him, cross legged.

Awkward silence consumes them.

"Umm. If you don't mind me asking. How come you always sit alone, and play that ukulele?"

"Well... I. um-" Jun had gotten used to not speaking to people so this was new. He didn't know what to say.

She gave him a toothy smile.

"You dont have to tell me if you don't want to."

Jun was about to say something to her but he was interrupted by the bell again.

"I'll see you in class." She gave him one last smile before she ran off into the building.
