As Jun walked home today he couldn't help but feel as if something would go wrong today.

His dad had been taking more and more of his money to pay for the alcohol.

And if Jun didn't have enough or refused then his dad would threaten him.

However everything changed when Jun got home today.

His dad was waiting outside the door today.

"What's that?" His dad gestured to the ukulele in Jun's hand.

He didn't know that Jun had a ukulele because Jun would always hide it when he got home.

"Answer me!" Jun still remained silent.

"Fine then." His dad reached forward and yanked the ukulele out of Jun's grip.

Jun immediately retaliated, reaching forward and attempting to snatch his instrument back however it was futile against his dad.

Instead Jun was shoved to the ground.

"Is this where my money's been going!? Wasted on pathetic things like these!"

"IT'S NOT PATHETIC! And it's not your money to spend. I earn that money so I should be free to spend it anwhere I want."

"Listen to me you pathetic bo-"

He was cut off by Jun.

"NO! You listen to me! I'm sick of you coming home drunk everyday! I'm sick of not having a proper parental figure! I'm sick of you. You always complain about me but maybe you should look at yourself instead of drinking your problems away every night."

Then next few seconds felt like hours.

An ear-splitting crack echoed through the air as splinters of wood flew past Jun to the ground.

Chords of string followed next, falling to the ground, ripped from their home.

Tears trailed down Jun's face as he fell to his knees cradling the broken body to his chest.

His father didn't seem to care as he picked Jun off the ground by his collar and punched him square in the jaw.

Blood flew through the air as Jun's head snapped to the left.

He was then dropped to the floor, worthless, like he always has been.

More punches were sent, Jun's head knocking back and forth as this happened.

Jun couldn't comprehend how much time passed.

But some called out.

"HEY!"
