When I was fully awake my head was throbbing, I groaned before sitting up, the room I was in barely had any light

The door slot opened slightly, revealing Regina's face, a frown was replacing her smile

"I can't let you tell anyone, I'm truly sorry," she spoke

"When I get out of here, your going to pay for what you've done to me, my family, and my lover. You know what they say, Karmas a bitch," I sneered

"That it is, goodbye Princess Andriana," Regina spoke before she shut the hatch

I hobbled in the boot now put on my foot, banging on the door

"Damn you Regina! Everything you deserve will come your way! I swear on my title I will destroy you!" I yelled, even though I knew she'd never hear me

A tear slipped down my cheek as my bangs became softer and a sob slipped my throat, my happy ending was crushed

I slid down the door, burying my head in my knees

A knock sounded in the wall next to me, I stopping my cries to hear it again

"Are you okay?" A voice sounded, it was female, with a slight British tone to it

"I don't know, who are you?" I asked

"Belle, and you are?" Belle spoke

"Adriana," I replied

"Banging on the door won't do much, trust me I've tried," Belle spoke

"How long have you been here?" I asked her

"I've lost count, months? Years? I don't know," She spoke

"I'm sorry your stuck here," I spoke

"Me too," she replied, and we left our conversation in silence

I lifted my fingers to touch the jewel around my neck, the one thing Regina left me

"Oh, Nic. Where are you?" I whispered, laying on the mattress in the room and holding the jewel close to me

The effect of losing Adriana's dragons was taking a large toll on the Princess

She'd barely eat, drink, sleep, it was killing her, and Nic

He'd hear her sobs at night, and it killed him to see her in such pain

And soon Nic has enough, he was going to get her dragons, no matter the cost

He grabbed his armor, and his axe, the Evil Queen was going to pay for this

He made his way through the castle, and he stood outside her door, hearing a sniffle, his heart clenched and he knocked on the door

"Come in," a muffled voice spoke, Nic slowly opened the door to find Addy standing on her balcony, in the same spot where the Evil Queen took her dragons

The slight breeze blew her hair back, and the light hit her skin just right, making her look more beautiful than she already was

"Addy, are you alright?" He asked, Andria slowly turned to face him and his heart broke at the sight, her eyes were red and puffy from her crying, and her lips quivered as she tried to hold in more of her sobs

"No, I'm not," she replied, sniffling as Nic made her way to her

Once he made it to her he held her against his chest, holding the back of her hand and her waist as she held onto his waist and slightly cried into his armor

"I'm going to get them for you," He spoke to her, her sobs stopped as she looked up at him

"W-what?" She asked, lips quivering

"I can't stand to see you like this, I'm going to get your dragons back," He spoke

"You can't! She'll kill you! I-I can't lose you, Nic. Your important to me, please don't go," she begged

"And you're important to me, and I can't stand to see you upset for another minute. I'm going to get your dragons back for you, no matter what it takes," he spoke, holding her cheek with his hands, she chuckled

"Your crazy," she spoke, a small smile tugging at her lips

"Only for you, I love you, Adriana. I would do anything for you," Nic spoke

"I love you too,"  Adriana spoke, a full smile filling her lips

And Nic smiled at her before bringing his lips to hers, Addy wasted no time returning the favor, placing her hands on his cheeks

The kiss felt like fireworks for them both, until they pulled apart for air, Nic leaned his head on top of hers, both smiling like idiots

"Promise me you'll come back to me, even if you don't get my dragons," Addy begged, looking up at him

"I promise, Princess. I will return to you, if it's the last thing I do," Nic promised

"Then I guess this is goodbye, for now," she spoke

"Indeed, this is goodbye for now. I shall return as soon as I can. Goodbye, my Princess," Nic spoke, kissing her one last time before saying another goodbye

Addy watched as he left, and quickly went to her balcony where his horse was ready, he hopped upon his horse before looking up at her

Her smile was all he needed as he smiled upon him and waved, he nodded up at her with a smile

"I'll always come back to you!" He called, making her giggle

"I have no doubts! Be careful!" She called, and he nodded, before he was off

Off to where he'd never return from

That day, was the best and worst day of my life, knowing he loved me made my life complete, but he never returned and the curse was activated not long after, and now I don't know where he is

Maybe he's here? But knowing that he went into the Evil Queens Castle she could have killed him, banished him, who knows what she did to him

But my Mom and Dad, my sister, I'll probably never see them again

I have every memory back, and no one else even knows who I really am

And my nephew, Henry, god he's the only one who knows and he's been right all along

My happy ending is shattered
