Chapter 14

Nic galloped through the Enchanted Forest for what seemed like forever in search of the Evil Queens Palace

He knew of that place, and knew where the Queen hid her most precious items, and he knew the dragons would be one of them

She wouldn't hide it, oh no, she'd place them somewhere visible where she could see her success

As he went faster the horse suddenly stopped, shocking Nic out of his blind rage

"Easy boy! Easy!" Nic coaxed, petting the horses mane lightly as he looked to see what shocked the horse so suddenly

"My, my dearie, where could you be off to at such a time as this?" A high pitched voice cackled, Nic knew that voice

"Rumplestilskin, What do you want?" Nic sneered, remembering the evil man

"Oh dearie is that anyway to treat your savior?" Rumplestilskin chuckled

"Your not my savior," Nic sneered

"Oh but I am, dearie. You truly wouldn't be who you are without me," He laughed

"What do you want? I am in no mood for you games nor do I want to play a part in them. Speak," Nic ordered

"Since you asked so nicely, I've come to offer you help in your, quest so to say," Rumplestilskin chuckled

"And what's in it for you? You don't do something so easily unless it's for a price," Nic spoke

"Great observation, dearie. Though lucky for you, you have already fulfilled what I want," Rumplestilskin spoke

"And what would that be?" Nic ordered

"It's of no importance now, but what is of importance is getting your twue lovwe's dragons back," Rumplestilskin giggled

"And what are you going to do to help me?" Nic questioned

"You see, you'll never find the Evil Queens palace as it is guarded by magic, not will you be able to sneak in undetected," Rumplestilskin began

"Get to the point," Nic growled

"I'll transfer you into the castle, straight to where the dragons are, and from there it's up to you," Rumplestilskin giggles

"And why are you helping me? What have I given you that you so desperately need?" Nic wondered

"You have given me an answer to this curse," Rumplestilskin giggled, before Nic could answer a puff of smoke surrounded him and he was right where the dragons were

They were chained to a table in a room full of mirrors, whining and breathing fire as they tried to escape but had no such luck

"Hey little guys, I'm gonna get you out of here. Just stand still," Nic warned, grabbing his axe from his holster before it was suddenly gone

He turned to see a smirking Evil Queen, holding his axe

"My, my, to what do I owe the pleasure of your visit, huntsman?" Regina smirked

"You have no idea what you've done to her," Nic growled

"Who? Princess Adriana? Well, dear that's just my business. And you've come here to what? Retrieve her dragons and bring them back to her? Be her hero?" Regina smirked

"I will kill you, if it's the last thing I do. For what you've put her through," Nic growled

"Oh I'm shaking!" Regina laughed, "Do you really think you can kill me?"

In a flash, Nic grabbed a dagger from his holster and threw it at Regina, she tried to stop it with her magic but it didn't work

The dagger flew through the air before imbedding itself in her side, she cried out in pain

She tired to pull the knife out but once her hand touched it it burned her hand, with a hiss she glare at the huntsman

"What is this?" She hissed

"Something a friend gave me a long time ago, hand over the dragons and I'll retrieve the dagger from your side," Nic bargained

"This won't kill me—" Regina began before a sweltering pain struck through her side, making her cry in pain once again

"What is it doing to me?!" She demanded, trying to throw a ball of flames at him but having no such luck

"That dagger kills magical beings, the more magic you have the more deadly it becomes to you. And I've heard, your majesty, you have quite a lot of it, the longer it's in the faster it will kill you. Hand the dragons over and I'll remove the dagger," Nic offered

"You may be clever huntsman, but there's more than one of you, huntsman!" Regina yelled, and a man cloaked in the Evil knights armor but with no helmet came to Regina's aid, pulling the dagger from her waist and she gasped with pain

"Your clever huntsman, I'll give you that. So I'm not going to kill you, but I'm going to kill the one person you love most. Not physically, but emotionally," Regina sneered, before waving her hand and Nic felt a puff of smoke surround him before he then was set on a new place

This wasn't the Enchanted Forest, not was it anywhere near it

This was an Island, home to the most terrible, vicious man

Peter Pan himself, and this Island Nic is forever trapped on is Neverland

I slowly awoke from my nap, hearing the slot open and Regina's face showing once again

"What do you want?" I sneered

"Oh nothing, just checking in on you," Regina spoke

"Go to hell, you'll pay for what you've done to me," I spoke

"I almost believe that, since you have nothing else to say to me..." Regina spoke as she began to lower the slot

"Where is he?" I questioned

"Who?" Regina asked

"Don't you play dumb with me, where is he? What did you do to him?" I asked, walking to the slot

"Oh, you mean your huntsman. I wish I could tell you," Regina spoke

"And why can't you?" I asked

"Because he's not where I put him," Regina spoke

"What? What do you mean he's not where you put him?" I asked

"Your huntsman was clever, I'll give him that. I tired to transport him to the infinite forest, where he'd search for you, or my castle but he wasn't there. Where he is I have no idea," Regina spoke

"Your lying," I spoke

"Sadly I'm not, he wasn't transferred when the curse took place, so where he is is beyond my knowledge," Regina spoke

"So he's really gone," I whispered, my eyes watering up

"I'm sorry, Addy, truly I am," Regina spoke

"No your not! Stop saying that! All you care about is your happy ending and nobody else's! What my mother did to you was an accident that you couldn't let go of. You could've had your happy ending if you let it go but you didn't! And Henry knows this and when Emma finds out she's going to kill you, for taking away the only family she had! And I swear if she doesn't get her hands on you I will, do prepare yourself Regina, because one day your gonna let me out because you need my help. And I'm not going to offer it to you, have a pleasant day, Regina. Do me a favor and get out of my sight," I sneered

Her jaw was clenched and she slammed the slot shut, anger was clearly taking her over but she refused to do anything

I headed to my mattress and closed my eyes as I laid down

My only hope is that Nic is still alive and out there somewhere, hopefully
