DEYJAH

We have been in North Carolina for a couple of months now and Liyah has gotten much bigger and a little more active as in smiling and giggling.

School has started and Tez has been way busier than expected. He barely has time with us from classes to training and even games .

He gets mad at me when I can't attend his games , well I mean somebody has to watch our daughter. So that puts a major toll on our relationship.

Tez hasn't touched me in weeks. Sometimes it makes me sad but then I think about Jaliyah and what she needs from me as a mom. 

I made us breakfast quickly cause my class started soon. Tez strolled in with his beats on and kissed Liyah's cheek and then grabbed his bag and slammed the front door.

I held back my tears and ate my food and quickly got dressed and then got Liyah dressed. I strapped her in and grabbed my keys and purse and headed out.

I dropped Liyah off at daycare and then headed to campus. I got to my first class which was Nursing 101.  I was gonna become the RN I dreamed of being all my life as a kid.

My friend that I had grown close with was with me and we were doing our classwork , joking around like we always do. Tamara and I had became close as hell she was basically my only friend.

Class was over after 2 hours.

"I'm riding with you , I really don't wanna go to my dorm and be bored." she said

I just nodded and hopped in my car. I sped off to daycare to pick up Liyah.

"I'm here to get Jaliyah Carter." I said to the office manager

"Her  father came to pick her up earlier." I gritted my teeth and smiled

"Thank you." I said while walking out , pissed at the fact that Tez , made me drive all the way across campus.

I got in my car and sped off to the nail shop.He wanted to be petty I could be too. Let's just say today was a girls day. Me and Tamara went and got our toes and nails done.

Then after we went out to eat at buffalo wild wings and then to the mall. Time had passed by me and it was now 9pm. I dropped T back off at her dorm and then headed home.

I smirked as I came through the door with all my stuff. Tez was on the couch in the living room with Jaliyah on his chest.

He looked at me and clenched his jaw , exactly the reaction I wanted. He walked upstairs and put Liyah to her bed and then came back to our room where I was putting my stuff away.

"You really petty for that shit when you know I had practice today , you tryna fuck up my career." he spat out at me

"Maybe if your selfish ass would of told me that you picked up Liyah I wouldn't have to be petty."I came back at him with the same energy 

"I'm not bout to do this with you."

"No let's because you been very fucking busy lately , actually was surprised you made time for your daughter today instead of dropping her back off at daycare."
