Chapter 8: Over

"You know, I was actually starting to think you weren't going to come" Jacob chuckled.

Here, Daisy sat on Jacobs couch as he walked around her with a glass filled with scotch in his hand. Every time Jacob made the slightest noise, Daisy's heart would jump a little.

"Why aren't you talking?"

Daisy looked down, trying to avoid any type of eye contact. But that frustrated Jacob. He slammed his drink on the wooden table in front of Daisy, making goosebumps form on Daisy's arm.

"WHY AREN'T YOU FUCKING TALKING HUH?" He screamed in her ear, causing tears to fall down her face.

"Why are you doing this Jacob?" Daisy said quietly.

"Because I loved yo—, what the hell, I love you Daisy and you should have never left me because you ruined me. Because of you I had a fucking DUI and every thing went wrong when you left" he yelled more.

"You did that to yourself" Daisy said a bit quieter.

"The fuck did you just say to me?"

"I SAID YOU DID THAT TO YOURSELF"

That sentence led to a slap after. Daisy's confidence went back down after that.
Jacob then pulled out a back of white powder from his back pocket and took some out and placed a line of it down on his table.

"Is that —"

"Coke, yeah, want some?" Jacob responded as he cleaned up the lines with his gym card.

"No, I don't" Daisy rolled her eyes and took out her phone.

As Jacob did cocaine, Daisy turned on her phone to see over 30 messages from Lilia.

Lilia: DAISY YOU NEED TO GET HOME RIGHT NOW

Lilia: WHERE ARE YOU?

Lilia: WYATT'S MISSING!

Lilia: STOP WITH THE PLAN!

Just by reading those, Daisy covered her mouth and started sobbing. She jumped and headed for the door. Jacob looked up and saw her running to the door and ran after her.

"WHERE DO YOU THINK YOU ARE GOING" Jacob yelled. His eyes were popping out. He was going insane.

"I HAVE TO GO JACOB, LET ME GO" Daisy screamed.

"NO!" Jacob screamed.

Slowly, Daisy started to walk away from the door but as soon as Jacob when back to doing his line of coke, Daisy ran for the door and to her car. She ran as fast as she could. Jacob soon realized and ran after her but when he got there, she was already in her car driving away.

Jacob grabbed her phone and dialled a number.

"It's time, find the guy"

Daisy called Lilia via her Bluetooth speaker while sobbing.

"DAISY? IS THAT YOU? ARE YOU SAFE?"

"YES LILIA, ITS ME AND I AM, HAVE YOU FOUND HIM YET?"

"NO WE HAVEN'T"

"OKAY, I HAVE A FEELING OF WHERE HE MIGHT BE, MEET ME AT AVALANCHE ROAD AND HOLBOR NOW" and with that, Daisy hung up.

Daisy slammed her car door and ran towards the bridge where Wyatt and her went on one of there dates. Wyatt had told Daisy that this is where he went when he just needed to get away.

Flashback

"Where are you taking me" blindfolded Daisy laughed.
"Somewhere special" Wyatt led Daisy.

"Okay take it off"
Daisy did and what she saw was purely beautiful. The starts mirroring off the beautiful lake below the bridge.

"Wyatt, this is incredible"

"I know, I love this place so much, I come here to get away and it helps."

Flashback over

Wyatt wasn't to be seen though. Daisy was chosen to do something she dreaded. She had to look over the bridge. Walking towards the edge of the bridge made her heart beat faster. Slowly she reached the edge and looked over to see Wyatt's body lingering through out the water.

"WYATT, OH MY GOD WYATT!" Daisy screamed her entire lungs out.

"DAISY?" Daisy heard Lilia call from afar. Daisy looked back to see Lilia and Jaeden running towards her.

"WYATT, NO WYATT, HE-" Lilia and Jaeden look over the bridge to see the same horrific site.

"Thank you for letting me stay here tonight"

"Anything for you Daisy" Lilia said.

After Wyatt's body was found, they had called the ambulance and the ambulance had confirmed Wyatt was dead at the scene. It officially broke Daisy.

As Lilia closed the door, Daisy pulled out her phone to put on charge but as she scrolled down Lilia's messages, there was something the stood out.

Voicemail from Wyatt❤️

Even looking at his name made her want to burst into tears. She was debating listening to it or not. But she decided not to.

Instead, Daisy decided to lay down on the bed and stare into the ceiling. Maybe it would help.
And so she did. She looked up and just stared at the ceiling.

"I'm so sorry Wyatt" she spoke to the ceiling.
"I don't know why I left you, I couldn't see anyone hurt you, I would never think that you would do this, I shouldn't have ever left you, oh my god, Wyatt I love you so much" she said while sobbing. Daisy's heart was broken. She was mentally damaged. Nothing could numb or fix the pain.

She went into the bathroom and sobbed more in front of the mirror cabinet. She looked at herself in the mirror and knew that she couldn't live in a world without Wyatt. Her eyes were closing and she could see herself crumbling slowly. She opened the cabinet to reveal prescribed painkillers for Lilia. She took them and placed them down on the side of the sing. She then took out her phone and she wanted to hear Wyatt's voice one last time.

"I don't know when you'll hear this, but this is a reminder, you made me the happiest person but now that your gone, my happiness is too. I love you so much Daisy, more than anything. I love you. Goodbye."

But to Daisy it wasn't goodbye. Because she was going to go with him.

"I love you more Wyatt." And with that, she downed the pills and sat in the bathtub. Soon, being with Wyatt, forever.
