"Hurry up, you don't want to be late on the first day, do you?" Amanda's mom told her.
"I'm going, I just need to pick out the perfect outfit. I need to make a good impression." Amanda replied.
"Sweetie, all of your old friends are going to the same school."
"Yeah, but there is also going to be kids I don't know." She said.
"Alright. Just hurry up." Amanda's mom said.
Eventually, Amanda picked out the perfect outfit.Amanda walked down the stairs, waiting for her mom.
"Oh come on Amanda, I thought you said you wanted to make a good impression!" She heard her mom say. "I'm wearing something that I like and that looks good on me." She replied.
"Why can't you dress a little bit more like a girl?" She said. "Oh I know" her mom thought aloud "You should wear this." Amanda's mom went into her closet and pulled out the most hideous thing Amanda has ever seen."No way in hell I'm wearing that." Amanda replied, sternly. "Language, Amanda. Besides, it would look so cute on you!" "I said no. No can we go now?" Amanda said. "Alright, lets go." Amanda's mother put the dress back and they left the house. Amanda decided to pull out her phone, since there was awkward silence between the two. She decided to text Zack.
