This is a conversation between Nymph! Keith Kogane(x for starter) and yourself, Lance McClain.Lance McClain: xNymph! Keith Kogane(x for starter): Keith was a fire nymph, abandoned by his family long ago to be raised in the forest by nymphs of another race. He was able to cool his usually hot temperatures to sit among the trees and animals helping with anything he could. He helped travelers who he deemed as kindhearted and he helped other nymphs when woodland problems arose, even when his hot headed nature got in the way. But today, that seemed to get him in a load of trouble. When one of the eldest trees in the wood was cut down by a group of hunters he felt like he was going to explode, and he almost did. One of the wood nymphs, Pidge, in an attempt to calm him down placed a hand on his shoulder, and ended up getting burned. He felt horrible be every time he tried to help he only made things worse, in the end he was running away from the burning forest in a horribly melancholy state. He had been walking for days, and even nymphs needed food and water to survive but he was miles away from the nearest village. He'd managed to calm himself down, and just as he stepped over a hill and the town came into sight, he collapsed in the side of the road into the town, unable to keep himself from falling in his exhaustion.Lance McClain: Lance was walking to the forest to gather herbs for medicine when he saw a man collapse by the road, he rushed over to him helping him up "Are you alright? Can you stand?!" He asked in alarm.Nymph! Keith Kogane(x for starter): Keith looked up at him, weak from exhaustion and hunger. He shook his head and bit his lip glancing back into the forest before managing to push himself to sit upright. "I-I've been walking for too long, some good and rest would do me some good." He looked up at him, able to feel just how pure the other's aura was just being close to him.Lance McClain: "Here come with me you can rest at my place and I'm a pretty good cook" he said before bending down and picking him up bridal style.Nymph! Keith Kogane(x for starter): Keith had to focus on keeping himself cool. He didn't want to burn him or hurt him in any way. "Thank you. But you don't need to be so kind to me. Just getting to the city I should be fine." He reassured, too weak to resist him carrying him.Lance McClain: "i can tell your a fire nymph, the heat is a give away" he said smiling down at him as they reached his house.Nymph! Keith Kogane(x for starter): Keith looked to the side and sighed. "Guess I'm not as good at controlling it as I thought. Sorry about that." He sighed softly keeping his head down.Lance McClain: "Its alright I'm actually a water nymph but I left a few years ago because of hunters after our internal ice" he said as he set him down on the bed in his room "this is the only bed sorry, ill go make you some food, please make yourself comfortable" he walked awayLance McClain: eternal*Nymph! Keith Kogane(x for starter): Keith nodded and sighed in a bit of relief. "It's rare I find a nymph out here that isn't from the forest." He smiled softly glad he wouldn't have to try and hide who he was from the boy. "I'm Keith by the way." He called after the other nymph.Lance McClain: Lance came in awhile later carrying a tray of food for the boy "Keith wake up I brought you some food" he said nudging the other "The names Lance by the way cutie~" he smiled giving him the food before going back to the kitchen to clean upNymph! Keith Kogane(x for starter): Keith felt his face heat up a bit and bit his lip as he awoke to the name. "Thank you..." He nodded and looked up at him, trying to get himself to cool down. Forest nymphs and humans were the only people he was ever around and Pidge had been the only nymph he really trusted. But Lance seemed different than most and he was glad it was him that had found him and his time trader.Lance McClain: After Lance had finished cleaning he went back to the room and sat down in a chair next to the bed "Hey Keith I have a present for you" he said sweetly.Nymph! Keith Kogane(x for starter): "What? Why would you have something for me. Y-you've done quite enough for me." He shook his head having finished the food he was given and sitting on the side of the bed.Lance McClain: "Because it will help you" he said as he started to move his hands thin threads of ice streaming from his fingers that glittered like stars as he wove them together in to a beautiful band of ice that would never melt no matter how hot it got. "Here let me see your hand" he said placing the band around his wrist.Nymph! Keith Kogane(x for starter): Keith watched him in awe and slowly held his hand out. "What is it?" He questioned calmly. The only thing he knew how to do with his fire magic was keep cool, and he couldn't even do that sometimes.Lance McClain: "its a band made of eternal ice, it will never melt and it will help keep you cool" he smiled and kissed the band making it turn a beautiful purple.Nymph! Keith Kogane(x for starter): Keith watched in amazement as he changed the color of the ice. "How'd you learn to do that?" He asked in awe as he scooted close to the other to see.Lance McClain: "i was all alone as a child so I learned to make things to make me happy, although i always found that making fire dance inside the ice was the most beautiful thing" he blushed and looked awayNymph! Keith Kogane(x for starter): "I never learned how to use my power like that. It's amazing. I've been told that most fire nymphs can do stuff like that with lava and flame but, I was raised in the forest by other forest nymphs, wasn't like I could mess around with my abilities out there." He looked down and then back up to Lance giving a small smile.Lance McClain: "Hey i have an idea that is if you want to practice using your powers" he said nervously.Nymph! Keith Kogane(x for starter): "I would love to learn how to use them, but everytime k try someone gets hurt. That's all fire does... destroys things and hurts people." He looked back down and bit his lip.Lance McClain: "you cant hurt me Keith" Lance thought for a moment before focusing his powers and releasing a burst of ice that covered the room "there now you can practice without burning anything" he said happily sitting back down in the chair to watch.Nymph! Keith Kogane(x for starter): Keith looked around the room and gave a small smile. "You don't need to help me this much. You already probably saved my life out there on that road, why are you still helping me? Water nymph and fire nymphs aren't supposed to get along." He shook his head and looked to the side.Lance McClain: "I'm helping you...because i saw you in a dream...and i fell in love with you..." he said embarrassed, scratching the back of his neckNymph! Keith Kogane(x for starter): "What? I... how? That shouldn't be possible. The fire and water nymph have been at war for years." He shook his head, his face red and burning hot.Lance McClain: "Well um you see i haven't been totally honest with you...I'm the prince...and we dream of our soul mates..." he said even more embarrassed.Nymph! Keith Kogane(x for starter): "You're, woah wait, /you're/ the water nymph prince?" Keith felt his eyes widen slightly at the confession looking over Lance in confusion.Lance McClain: "yeah..I've hidden my wings that show my status" he said slowly letting them reappear, beautiful bright white sparkling wings of ice sprouted from his back "And Keith I don't understand why your so surprised when your a prince too" he deadpannedNymph! Keith Kogane(x for starter): "What? No I'm not. Th-there's no way." He shook his head looking wide-eyed at Lance, unable to keep himself from admiring the beautiful wings.Lance McClain: "Keith I'm a prince I can only have the soul mate of another royal" he said sitting down next to you and hugging you gentlyLance McClain: him*Nymph! Keith Kogane(x for starter): "B-but I'm not... I'm not a royal, of any kind." He shook his head again unsure of what to think of all this. He'd been abandoned by his family when he was young and raised by the forest nymphs who kept him from even attempting to use his powers, how could he be a prince?Lance McClain: "Well there is a way to know for sure...take off your shirt and turn around, if your royal you will have wing marks" he said showing Keith the wing marks on his own back to prove his pointNymph! Keith Kogane(x for starter): Keith looked down and hesitated but slowly stood up and slipped his shirt off, turning his back to Lance. "Th-there nothing there..." he mumbled more to himself than Lance, almost trying to reassure himself there wasn't.Lance McClain: "You have the marks alright" he said more to himself before reaching out a hand to coax the wings from his body the beautiful flames rose higher than his own wings of ice "Your wings are beautiful Keith" he muttered in aweNymph! Keith Kogane(x for starter): Keith felt his eyes blow open wide as he looked up to see them. "I... th-then why..." He shook his head looking down in confusion. "Why did they leave me behind?" He could physically feel the wings wrap around his body almost protectively.Lance McClain: Lance wrapped his own wings around Keith making a warm cocoon "Keith they were trying to protect you my parents did the same there was a war going on they left you to save you" he said hugging him tightly to his chestNymph! Keith Kogane(x for starter): "Do you even know your family? Because I never did, and I don't know what happened to them either. Fire nymphs are weak compared to water nymphs, so for all I know they could be..." he bit his lip, keeping his eyes done but leaning almost instinctively into Lance.Lance McClain: "I didnt know my parents Keith I told you I was all alone, there was no one with me for 18 years Keith I've always been alone until I met you..." he said kissing the back of his neck trying to comfort him with soothing iceNymph! Keith Kogane(x for starter): "War or not they shouldn't have just left us behind. They don't even bother to stick around long enough to know if I was okay or not. What's the point in having a family you never knew?" He could feel hot tears burning at the backs of his eyes, leaning into Lance's cooling touch, suddenly thankful he was water and couldn't truely be hurt by Keith.Lance McClain: Cold tears dripped on to keiths back "keith if they had taken you with them you would be dead!" he shouted angry at himself for letting his emotions run wild " if they had taken you Id be alone forever...I love you Keith..."Nymph! Keith Kogane(x for starter): "I... I know, but..." Keith shook his head and turned around wrapping his arms and wings around Lance. "I just don't want to be alone anymore. The forest nymphs we're scared of me, of my powers, I just wanted someone that understood. Someone... someone like you. I love you too Lance." He spoke softly as he held onto Lance calmly, trying his best to calm his tears.Lance McClain: Lance lifted his hand to softly stroke his black hair letting him cry in to his chest "Its okay Keith I'll never leave you" he wrapped his wings around him drifting to sleep with him in his armsNymph! Keith Kogane(x for starter): Keith cried himself out, his wings slowly pulling the self back into the slits on his back, body trembling as he clung to Lance, falling asleep as well.Lance McClain: Lance awoke to a weight on top of him, he looked down to see the one he loved sleeping soundly but on fire? Lance grew his wings out again placing the on Keith back to put out the fire "Its time to wake up love~" he said in a sing songy voiceNymph! Keith Kogane(x for starter): Keith slowly stirred and shook his head clinging tightly to Lance as he was wrapped in the cooling touch of his wings. "Don wanna..." He mumbled softly, unwilling to move from his spot.Lance McClain: "Keith unless you want to be naked all day i suggest we get up, you burnt our clothes in your sleep" he said laughing with a blush on his faceNymph! Keith Kogane(x for starter): Keith blushed and bit his lip his eyes opening to look down at himself. "Why does this always happen to me?" He mumbled softly and sighed heavily sitting up in a failed attempt to cover himself.Lance McClain: "Hey Keith" he said cupping the others face in his hands "Your beautiful the way you are" he said before kissing him gentlyNymph! Keith Kogane(x for starter): "I'm also naked the way I am and it's embarrassing."Nymph! Keith Kogane(x for starter): He blushed darkly and bit his lip but kissed back anyway.Lance McClain: "so am I but I'm not complaining, i mean you were laying on me" he said with a laugh not ashamed at being naked "I am curious as why our clothes burned but not the sheets or the bed, hmmm"Nymph! Keith Kogane(x for starter): "I don't know. I'm used to sleeping in the forest in the ground. This is one of the only times I've ever slept in an actual bed." He mumbled softly, pulling his knees into his chest to cover himself.Lance McClain: "Hey its okay come on lets take a shower" he said taking Keiths hand and walking to the bathroomNymph! Keith Kogane(x for starter): Keith froze a bit and pulled his hand back. "If you don't recall, me and water don't necessarily get along." He mumbled softly as he looked up at Lance.Lance McClain: "its not a normal shower Keith" he said taking him to the bathroom and showing him the special shower Lance had made "you use your power to charge this crystal and then that power comes out here" he said pointing to the crystal and the specially made shower head "here charge the crystal with your power" he took your hand and put it on the crystalNymph! Keith Kogane(x for starter): "I don't know how." He said softly as Lanc eaced his hand on the crystal. He had no clue to use his powers for anything that want destructive. And even then he didn't know how to use his power. He looked at the odd shower and bit his lip before looking to Lance in his confusion.Lance McClain: "Close your eyes and imagine a fountain of lava coming from your fingertips" he said hugging him gentlyNymph! Keith Kogane(x for starter): Keith nodded and closed his eyes trying to do as th other said unsure if anything was happening. He was mostly forbidden from using his power int he forest and he listened solely because he wanted a family.Lance McClain: the crystal started to glow the lava flowing in to it "Open your eyes love~" he said happily *manly giggle*Nymph! Keith Kogane(x for starter): Keith opened his eyes wodeNymph! Keith Kogane(x for starter): as he saw and he smiled softly. "Wow. I— didn't even know I could do that." He smiled softly and leaned into Lance.Lance McClain: "You can do anything you want" he said walking over to the shower "come on silly" he said enjoying the lava flow over his wings.Nymph! Keith Kogane(x for starter): Keith tilted his head softly. "How did you make this?" He tilted his head softly and stood beside him smiling softly at the warm lava on his skin.Lance McClain: "well being all alone in a hole with dirt you get filthy and i got tired of it so i made this to get clean" he said smiling and kissing his cheekNymph! Keith Kogane(x for starter): "I used to just go into a clearing in the woods pen by the rocks and set myself in fire for a while. I would get dirty and I can't touch water so I burned it off." He shrugged softly as the lava seemed through his hair and his body went ablaze againLance McClain: Lance hugged him tightly "its like holding a warm marsmallowLance McClain: "Nymph! Keith Kogane(x for starter): "You're the only person that's ever been able to touch me like this." He smiled softly trying to take a few breaths to cool himself, the bracelet on his wrist ski thag for him.Lance McClain: "good i dont want anyone else touching you while your naked!" he said sassilyNymph! Keith Kogane(x for starter): "I meant when I'm on fire..." He looked to the side before giving a small smile back to Lance.Lance McClain: "oh...changes nothing! im never letting go of you!" he began running his fingers through the others hair loving the softnessNymph! Keith Kogane(x for starter): Keith hummed happily, a small smile on his face. "Wait a minute, if we're both princes of the fire and water nymphs, w-we could stop the war. If they see that we don't have to fear one another, they wouldn't have to fight." He shook his head looking up at Lance.Lance McClain: "that is the point of our marriage, w-well that is if you want to marry me because i mean im not going to force you or anything and-" he rambled on and on a bright red blush on his faceNymph! Keith Kogane(x for starter): Keoth chuckled softly and cut him off, gently leaning in and kissing him. "You're my soulmate, of course I'm going to marry you." He smiled happily and hugged him happily. "D-do you think... if we do this, would we meet our parents?" He questioned hopefully.Lance McClain: "i dont know...if they are with us anymore...." he said sadly a tear falling from his eye
