Chapter 5, Secrets Revealed

Virgil's POV

I showed up in Thomas's living room. "Virgil?" Thomas seemed worried that I had showed up. I could feel his walls going up. "No wait." I said. "I need to tell you and the others something. Could you summon them? It's important." "Ya sure." He said. With that the other three rose up. They all greeted Thomas & then got to asking what was wrong. "I have a secret that I need to get out." I said. "I kept this secret because I wanted you to accept me as Anxiety first." With that I removed my outer layer to reveal my own self. "I'm not male." I said. "How is this possible?" Logan asked. "Well when it comes to. To the Dark Sides. They don't have to be male." I said looking down. "Well honestly I'm not surprised." Thomas said. "Really?" I asked looking up. "Well ya. You always had a feminine air to you." Thomas said. "I agree." Said Logan. "Wow. Thanks guys. To be honest I was really scared to tell you." I said smiling. "Now is that I smile I see?" Patton said. "Ya." I said looking at him. "Ya it is a smile." "Well since we're all opening up & stuff I wanna say something too." Logan said. "Oh ya sure go ahead Logan." Thomas said. I got the feeling something bad was gonna happen I was pretty sure Roman did too. "Um Logan what did you wanna say?" Roman said taking my hand. "Um Roman?" Thomas asked with a smile. "Why are you holding Virge's hand?" "I'm holding her hand because I love her & because I can feel that she's uncomfortable." Roman said pulling me closer to him. "Aw that's sweet." Thomas said. "Anyways Logan wanted to say something." "Yes I did." Logan said. Suddenly his eyes flashed green. "Oh no." I said. "Guys back up." "What why?" Thomas asked backing up anyways. "Because that's not Patton. That's. That's one of the Dark Sides." I said stepping in front of Roman. "Which one?" Logan asked. "Disgust." I said glaring at him. "Why that's correct." Disgust/Logan said. "By the way? Purple is still so not your color. Virge." "What do you want?" I asked

"Why I would have thought you would've figured it out by now. We want control."

"Well we know you want control. How does pretending to be Patton. Again. Get you control."

"Like this."

With that Disgust lunged at me. He grabbed my arm & engulfed the two of us in a cloud of lime green smoke. "No!" I heard Roman scream. When the smoke cleared we were in the Shadow Room. Disgust held me against his chest as I struggled. "Let me go you b*tch!" I yelled stepping on his foot. "Why would we do that?" Said a voice. Deceit stepped out of the shadows. I stopped struggling as hard. "What do you want." I said through gritted teeth. "We want control & by bringing you here. There will be chaos." "Why me though?" I said. "Because only a Dark Side can be in the Shadow Room for longer then an hour. We want to cause chaos. Not death. We want your help. If you help us we can let you have everything you want. Roman can be yours." "I'll never help you hurt Thomas." I said. "Well then. Tie her down Disgust." Deceit said. With that Disgust dropped me in a chair & tied my hands behind me. "We'll be back to see if you've changed your mind." With that the two of them left the room leaving me to myself.
