LESSON 4

Lesson 4: Those who dare steal Ice Cream do not have long lives.....

Oh Goddess!! Oh Goddess what do I do I can't even leave and hide somewhere now.

Terra takes one look at me and senses my inner battle. She extended her hand for me, telling me she is there. This calms me down a bit and I hold her hand and sit by her side.

I look at the two strangers and find that they are looking at me and Terra , curious and studying us probably. Or maybe they just have faces that make them look like that.

"Cali, this is Sarah and Seth Reef. Guys this is my other bestie Cali." Terra introduces me to them and vice versa.

"Hey" I say and make a little waving action.

"Poor people they moved here in middle of semester and are now stuck with us" Terra says.

I chuckled at her tone. "Yeah I really hope you survive us , not many people can handle the crazy trio" Narnia says.

"Hey I'm not crazy, even though I may have violent tendencies and constantly contemplating ways to make sure I create havoc wherever I go " I raise my eyebrows at her . Her mouth twists in a  grimace and she scowls at us" Okay , you guys mau have a point there"

"Of course you are crazy Terra, but don't worry guys we will protect you if she ever gets out of control." I finally say.

The two of them are now looking at us probably trying to figure us out. Or maybe thinking of ways to run away without being noticed. Judging by their facial expressions I  think they wish to run.

After sometime Sarah asks " Ok you guys were telling us how you met" She looks at Terra and Narnia.

"Yeah, that's right so Cali and I met this one" Terra points to Narnia" in the  park, while she was running away from a very angry duck." She says and laughs.

"Hey I still have nightmares about that day, don't laugh you guys. That was the day I learned that mommy ducks are fierce warriors out for blood and to stay far away from them." She says and this time all of us laugh.

"So after the almost Death By Pecking incident we helped her"  "And found that coincidently she was looking for a place to stay"  "And that she was a student here."   " And so we invited her to join the  dark side"  "She has been stuck with us ever since" We say finishing each other's sentences.

"Ok that's funny so what about you guys how did the two of you meet" The two now turn to me and Terra "I am actually excited to hear this story more cause Cali you and Terra really don't make sense together." Seth finally finishes.

"What do you mean when you say that" Terra asks, she has stiffened beside me. I gently slip my hand into hers.

"Sorry if it came out a bit offensive but what he wanted to ask was that Cali seems very shy and you are.....well not so shy, so you see how did you two meet." Sarah clarifies.

"Oh" Terra looks at me and raised her eyebrows " you see we met in middle school"

And we fall into the well rehearsed routine that you develop when you have been someones friend for do long.

"It was my first day st school, after the teacher introduced me I looked up and my eyes met hers." I say.

"The moment our eyes met something in us just clicked." Terra says and sighs.

"That's when I knew that we both belonged to the dark side and were made for each other." I say and looked at her with longing.

"And we have been friends ever since" Terra finishes.
