"Oh god... he's bleeding"
B-bleeding?! Where? What the hell was happening, who are these people? What hit me? So many questions, but yet I couldn't say a word. I seemed paralyzed. I mean could you blame me? Everything was a black, and if you just had been told you're bleeding by a stranger as you feel a sharp pain in your head... what the hell would you say?! I began to listen to the group of guys conversation the best I could.
"Bro.. the school's office! Let's take him there!"
"Are you stupid?! That's what I'm trying to do but the dumb dog won't let me touch him!"
"Woah, woah wait! Dude his eyes!"
"Did we blind the kid?!"
"I don't want to go to jail bro!"
"Should we just leave him?"
"You guys are all idiots.. someone hold the dog while I carry him into the office. His head's bleeding."
"OW! The dog fucking bit me!"
I heard at least about 5 different male voices say until everything went completely silent.

What happened? I was extremely dizzy. In any normal person's situation they'd simply look to see where they were... but I had no idea. I kept my eyes closed and acted like I was asleep, sense I had passed out. Suddenly I heard the same male voices from before and a female one. My girlfriend! Thank god! I was about to open my eyes and ask what the actual fuck was going on, and where my baby was. Trico, he was trying to protect me. Poor guy... I decided to see what they were talking about before I would open my eyes. I listened in, I suddenly recognized a continuous beeping sound. Was I in a hospital?
"Yeah.. we were playing football and a guy named Tyler just chucked the ball. He doesn't know how to control his own strength. I'm so sorry about him."
I heard a male voice say, so that's what happened. A football. Glad to know I wasn't in a car accident.
"Oh you're fine, accidents happen. Plus, him being blind sucks. I mean the idiot never even knows if he's kissing me! He could be kissing a tree!"
She giggled out. Ouch. Ow. That was a punch to the gut, a bad sting. That right there was my girlfriend talking. She always told me that my eyes were beautiful. That's it. The tears began to course down my cheeks fast. My shell broke and my heart sunk. Why did I have to be blind? If I wasn't blind I would have to be here. I could be some high school football player like the one that was flirting with my girlfriend. I've never seen color...
when my mom took me to get my hair dyed she had to explain all the colors. I didn't even know what green looked like... I just thought the word sounded nice. I began to fall into a dark spiral of thoughts. I wanted my dog and my mom here so bad.
-Time skip-
Soon my mom arrived after my crying session which nobody even seemed to notice my tear stained cheeks except for her. The doctor told us that a football came in harsh contact with my head and put me in a minor concussion and my skull had been bruised. Only minor brain damage but nothing serious. I was free to go home. Three words that the doctor had said caught my attention.
"Stay safe Seán."
How was I supposed to do that?! I sighed as I was now in the car with my mom as Trico was in my lap safe and wagging his tail happily. Hugging my mother and telling the words that my girlfriend had said about me and how I was such an idiot. I just wanted to go home and shut myself in for days upon weeks... years were fine with me at this point.
