Not alone

The soft voice of Mingkwan was the one who wake him up from his Deep sleep. He slowly opened his eyes and saw Mingkwan looking at him

"Baby, I hate to wake you up but I know you have things to do." Mingkwan uttered while caressing his cheeks

Kit stretch his arms as he look around and saw that he's still inside the VIP room 2, his patient is fast asleep on the other bed. He glance at the clock and it shows 4 in the morning.

"how long have I been sleeping?" Kit asks while looking at his Lover.

Mingkwan smiled "3 hours of uninterrupted sleep. are you feeling better now?" he asks while sitting beside Kit. Kit could only nod while he check his phone and was glad that he did not miss any urgent phone calls.

"you haven't slept?" Kit asks while looking at Mingkwan's sleepy face

Mingkwan shake his head while smiling "You know how bad my sleeping habits are. I might overslept." he replied

Kit smiled as he get off the bed and check the equipment attached to his patient's body. He also check the monitoring chart and saw that his blood pressure was stable since last night.

"hmm, looks like he's doing better. He might be able to get discharge later today." Kit uttered while looking at the chart and exam results.

Mingkwan stood up and remove the chart that Kit was holding and pulled the doctor closer to him "P'Kit, you just woke up and you're already working. Calm down a little will you? you keep making me worry." he uttered while kissing Kit's forehead

Kit glance at the sleeping old man and glared at Mingkwan "Moonming, what are you doing, your Bpuu might see us." he whispered while he try to push him away

"He will not care even if he see us in this position. My bpuu loves me." Mingkwan replied while hugging Kit closer to him. Kit sighed as he wrap his arms around Mingkwan's waist

"I want to go home and take a decent sleep, bath and meal. " Kit uttered while pouting

Mingkwan chuckled as he kiss the top of Kit's hair "Just few more hours gorgeous doctor and you're free." he replied

"and because of that, I need to go back to work. I have 7 charts to work on. take some nap while I'm away." Kit stated before pulling out from the hug.

Mingkwan nodded while he fix Kit's coat "do your best my kitkat. I'll wait for you then," he replied

"hmm, it might take some time. I will go back here to check on Bpuu and see if I can discharge him today." Kit answered before leaving a peck on Ming's lips and left the room.

Mingkwan could only smile while staring at the close door. Little did he know that his bpuu was watching him while smiling.

Kit went back to the emergency ward and continued whatever report he was working at. some of the senior doctors already reported early so his workload was lessened compared from the previous hours where he was working. He signed the last chart and returned it to the cabinet. He look at his watch and it shows that its almost 8 am.

He called the laboratory and asks for the results of the exams he did for Mingkwan's grandfather and smiled when he saw that the results were normal and that he can just take his maintenance medication. He was about to leave so he can do his morning rounds when he received a phone call from his personal phone

"hello?"
