Alice's POV

"You promised me! You promised me you would tell me if it got worse," The sound of my bestfriends voice fills my ears.

"Did you feel like you couldn't trust me? Or was I just a terrible friend," his cold finger tips graze my thumb and his tears drop like a puddle of water.

"I know," my voice cracks like glass on a hardwood floor. The dryness of my weak voice almost sounds unrecognizable. I reach for the tall glass of water practically screaming my name. Mikey's eyes widen as he grabs the glass of water before it falls out of my grasp.

"You heard me?" He questions as one eyebrow raises above the other. His eyes flutter like a butterfly's wings.

"Of course I did," taking a few slow breaths before saying each word.

"So you heard about the promise part?" He asks while shaking his red locks.

"Yes and I'm extremely sorry mike!"

"You're sorry? Ali, you could of fucking died tonight! And you're sorry? I asked you so many times to call me and-"

"Mike-"

"No, not this time Alice. I don't accept  your apology this time." He runs his hands through his red locks and angles his harmless glare towards me.

"Mike..I-" I don't know what hurt more his glare or the not accepting my apology.

"Show me," looking up at me with his big eyes.

"Excuse me?"

"Show me that I actually mean something to you! Show me that this friendship means something to you. Show me that I'm not wasting my fucking time." He grunts while glaring 10 times harder.

"I promise you, I will." I whisper sounding almost like a child. My voice so weak and fragile stands strong.

"M'kay" his fingers quickly uncross from my own.

"Levi is staying at my place with Troy. I'll be back tomorrow to bring you back to mine, ok?"

"Ok, Mikey, love you" I almost whisper trying to find my lost voice again. He closes the door and I let my pain reveal itself. The unspeakable events from tonight roll out of my head like a broken video tape.

The light slowly begins to fade and my drowsiness takes me away.

Useless

Pathetic!

Ugly!

Whore!

You should of died.

My thoughts scream at me like a mother to her child. Screaming words at me that hurt more than any cut on my pale flesh.  The voice shakes up my brain and mixes up my delusional thoughts. My eyes fly open quicker than I can scream and  my extremely dry voice cries for reassurance.  Darkness fills my eyes as I look around at the dreadfully boring room with no feeling of warmth. No one hears my lonely cries and no one believes my dreaded pain. Piece by piece it rips my flesh from my bone and drinks my sins away. The blood rushes down ITs throat while my eyes remain towards the ceiling. The dark entity scratches me from the inside trying to get out, trying to breathe the same air as me.
