Wrong Foot

Alonna

---

I shake my head, watching her leave out of the two double doors nearby. I decide not to stress the entire situation, my teacher should understand.

You cannot, under any circumstance place a hard worker with a lazy person, the two just don't mix. And this, should be prime example.

I walk to my next class and breeze through the day, wearing my one of a kind famous smile. Even if it may be fifth hour and time to work on th eproject, I decide not to stress it.

"Alonna," My teacher calls out to me as I look up, taking out my other headphone. "Yes?"

"Where's your partner, Chase?" I shrug. Mr. Patterson shakes his head, writing something down on his clipboard.

"Well, I can reassign you to someone else, but if she doesn't pass this project she fails my classs, meaning she doesn't graduate. Would you like someone else instead?"

His words float in my head, not graduate? I don't like her, but I'd feel bad. Imagine me walking down the street, seeing her on a corner. Knowing I could've helped her.

"Nah, I'll make sure she gets here." I blurt out before even realizing what I'm saying. "Good." He smiles as he walks away.

I facepalm myself, mumbling some unkind things out as I shake my head.

Once the period is over, I go through the day, thinking about myself becoming Captain Save a Failure.

Once the day is over, I meet up with Erin and Skye who hug me at the same time. I feel some one staring at me and when I turn around, I see Chase.

She looks mad, but I don't care. I turn my attention back to my associates. "Alonna, you want to go to a party with us?" Erin asks as we begin to walk.

"When?" I question, "Friday." Skye chimes. "What time." -Well it starts at 9 but we'll be going around 10 or so." Erin shrugs.

"But, we're going to the mall at 4. Is that okay?" When she asks that I shrug, but at the moment we were walking by Chase.

"Friday at 4, got it." I nod, Chase looks mad but it's her own fault.

"Alonna!" I hear a squeal from behind me, and who I see shocks me completely.

"Milian? What are you doing here?" I grumble. "I came back, duh!" She excitedly squeals as I blink to make her go away, but everytime I open my eyes, she's still there.

"Are you not happy to see me?" She questions as I look at her like she's crazy, which she is.

"No." I answer bluntly. "Dumb bitch." Erin mumbles, causing me to snicker.

"Oh, Erin. You're still around." She mocks with an eyeroll. "Clearly, and you're not." Erin backfires with a quickness.

"I'll be back around soon, so figure out a way to control that attitude, okay baby face?" She gives her a fake smile while still clinged onto my torso.
