(Sorry it's late again)

//Your POV//

"Anything You need to tell me?" I asked.

He looked over to me swiftly and then turned his head to the window.

"No," He simply answered.

"Dice, I heard you swear, on the phone for god sake," I continued.

"I...I'm not going to answer you," He denied.

"You can tell me. I know somethings wrong," I tried to reassure him walking towards him with my hands out.

He got up from the couch and walked backwards.

I grabbed him by his wrist and pulled him back towards me.

"Dice, please," I begged him.

Dice looked at the floor, he looked..ashamed.

Like he has committed the biggest crime out there.

"Dice," I Said one more time, making my face closer to his.

In his eyes were tears. He looked like he was about cry, but was using all his strength to keep his feelings bottled up.

"I..I have some unfinished business back at home," Dice finally spoke, quietly.

"Unfinished business??" I asked.

"It's none of your business," He sighed.

"But if it's hurting you, it is my business," I told him placing my hand on his shoulder.

Dice had his eyes wide open, surprised at what I just said.

"Look, sweetheart, I'm only doing this to keep you safe," He said putting his hand on my cheek.

"What?" I asked confused.

"In my past, I've done some things I truly do regret. I thought, if I can go somewhere, run away from my problems, I'd be a good person. I want you to only know the good me, just let me protect you," Dice explained.

"Dice, I still don't get what you mean and besides, no matter what you've done in your past, I'd still think you're a great person. I promise," I whispered as I forced a hug on him.

"Y/n, if only you could understand but, I think you're too good of a soul to understand," He sighed.

"I'll take that as a compliment," I chuckled.

*****Later*****

Dice and I went food shopping so he could clear his mind a bit.

I still didn't know what was happening.

Like, I had never seen him so upset.

It made me upset.

'I think I should leave him alone about it for the rest of the day, he seems like he's winded down a bit since then.'

I was in my room scrolling through Twitter, mostly laughing at the replies Wendy's sent to their haters.

I heard a two knocks on my door.

"Who's there?" I responded waiting for a knock-knock joke.

Dice paused for a minute and then said;

"Dishes."

"Dishes who?" I replied.

"Dishes a very bad joke," He chuckled as he came in my room.

"Pffft!! Dude, you seriously need your own comedy show or something!" I laughed.

"Come on, it really wasn't that funny. Besides, the producer would have me, served," He punned.

"Okay. You can stop now," I finished snickering.

"But really, I want to talk to you," He told me as he sat next to me on the edge of my bed.

"K, shoot," I Said.

"I know that you'll think I'm a good person no matter what but, I don't get why. You don't know what I've done or said to people. There are things that, I can't explain. I refuse. If you want answers, I'll give this to you. This weekend I'll be going back to the town where I have stuff I need to settle. I'd rather not bring you because it's dangerous, especially to humans. But, If you're up for it and brave enough, I'll take you, But know this," Dice paused as he took my hands.

"I'll always be there to protect you, sweetheart," King Dice smiled as he kissed my forehead.

"Th-Thanks," I stuttered as I felt my entire face grow red.

I also saw a dark purple tint spread across his face, indicating he was blushing as well.

"So, you gonna Come?" He asked.

I then responded:

"Yeah, I'll join ya."
