The bus

I head out the door and I see the bus coming.
Perfect timing I guess.
The bus stops and everybody is looking at me as I get on. Why are they staring at me. They didn't do this yesterday. What has happened.
I sit beside a girl names karly. She is about the only person I'm friends with so far at this new school. She doesn't even talk to me. She just looked out of the window.
I know something has happened as I want to know.
"What's wrong" I asked quietly cause the bus is silent. It wasn't silent yesterday.
She just looks at me and then turn and looks out of the window again. God why won't she answer me.
"Karly, what happened"
She finally looks at me and points towards the most popular girl in the school.
"What about her?"
"She saw you talking to her boyfriend yesterday and when a girl talks to him the she gets pissed and spreads rumors about them." Karly said with fear.
"What has she said about me?"
"Well.... it's nothing good..."
"Just tell me please!" I whisper yelled.
"She has been telling everybody that you're a slut and that you are trying to get with her boyfriend"
"I WAS ASKING WHERE THE DAMN BATHROOM WAS!!!" I yelled.
Everybody looked at me in shock.
"Karah, shut up!"
"What was that?" The popular girl said.
"I said, I just asked your boyfriend where the bathroom was you retard!"
She just looked away.
"Oh my gosh Karah. Nobody has ever had the guts the say something like that to her. Like ever!" She whispered.
People were still staring at me but they soon started conversations with me wondering how I did that without hesitation.
"Do you really think I'm scared of her. I look twice as good then her in my uniform and I'm not a bitch neither." I said proudly.
Everybody laughed but she just looked at the crown around my seat on the bus and looked back away.
"What's her name anyways?"
"Her name is Sadie Lin" somebody said.
"Wow. Even sound like a bitch name😂" I said and laughed.
Everybody laughed at everything I said from then on while on the bus. Maybe this say won't go so bad after all.
