The (not so) popular girl

We arrived to school and I walked into the cafeteria to eat breakfast with Karly.
We sat down and I looked around for my crush.
"What are you looking for" Karah asked concerned.
"Sadie's boyfriend. What's his name anyways?"
"Ooooooohhhh. Somebody has a crush on Sadie Lin's boyfriend!"
"Shut up Karly. I mean look at him. How could somebody not fall in love with him. His hair. His smile. And omg his voice. That voice!"
"Calm down there ya day dreamer. It's nothing new. Just about everybody in Elkins High has a crush on him. But trust me. You have no chance. Everybody has tried to get with him but ether he turns them down or Sadie spreads rumors about them, as you have already noticed."

I started to get concerned now knowing this.

"But what is his name Karly?!"
"His name is Zack kurry"

Zack. What a beautiful name. I have to find a way to get in contact with him.

"Does he have a phone number?"
"Listen. I'm sure he does. But do you really think I would have it. You would have to ask him for it. "
"NO WAY! I'm not doing that."
"Then no number I guess😂"
"I hate you"

I don't see Sadie anywhere. Maybe I could go over and sit next to him.

"Screw it" I say with confidence.
"Wait! KARAH. WHAT ARE YOU DOING. YOU' RE CRAZY" Karly yelled.
"I KNOW I AM" I shouted already half way to zack.

I look at him as I'm walking and we make eye contact. He points toward the empty seat next to him. WAIT. is he inviting me to sit next to him?!?! Oh. My. God. This can't be real.
I sit down next to him.

"Hey" he said.
"Hey" I said with nervousness.
"You don't need to be nervous. I can tell that you are." He giggles a little.
"Where's your girlfriend. I don't think I should be sitting with you. Won't she get mad?"
"Not if I lie to her and tell her that I don't think that you're hot"

Wait. He thinks I'm hot?

"You think I'm hot?"
"Well yeah. Look at you. You're perfect. Your smile. You hair. Your body. And believe me, your voice, I love it. I love everything about you."
"Wow..."

He reached under the table and put his hand on my thigh. Oh god. No. Not like this.

"What are you doing tonight?" He asked.
"Nothing really. Just some homework."
"Why don't you skip the homework and come over to my place tonight? Let's have some fun?" he said with a smirk.
"Sure. Why not. And what do you mean "fun"?"
I said looking away.
"You will find out" he said and winked

OMG. WHAT DID I JUST GET MYSELF INTO.
I got up and walked back to Karly in shock.

"Oh. My. God." I said looking at her.
"I'm sorry. Did you get rejected...."
"NO I DIDNT GET REJECTED. I GOT INVITED TO HIS HOUSE TONIGHT!!!!" I whisper yelled with excitement.
She looked at me in shock.
"OMG ARE TOU SERIOUS!!!"

The rest of the school day went normal. I talked to Zack a few more times but just to help each other out with biology and algebra class.
