I woke up with my headset halfway off my face. I groaned. I pulled an all nighter of gaming again. I was playing with one of my closest gaming buddies. His username was Superman Yoosung. We've been playing together ever since it came out. I stood up and felt around for my glasses. I felt them and placed them in my face. I walked into the kitchen and brewed a cup of coffee. As I was making it, I texted Yoosung. He was probably asleep so I had to text him to get ready for school. I just graduated and he was far behind. His poor gaming addiction was what was holding him back. He called me. I smiled and picked it up.
"Morning my Little Gamer." I said I go the phone. I heard him groan.
"How many times have I told you not to call me that? I hate it you know." Yoosung said. I laughed. I heard someone else on the other side of the line. "Oh it's one of my gaming buddies. Nothing to worry about." He said. I raised an eyebrow.
"Oh? Who's house are you at?" I asked grabbing a cup of coffee. "Do you finally have a soul mate?" I teased.
"Ha. I wish." Yoosung said. "Nah. It's my friend. His name is Saeyoung." Yoosung said. I heard the other person yell at him for telling me his name.
"Wow. He must not like people knowing his name." I said smirking. "Don't worry. His secret is safe with me." I heard the guy sigh. "Wait, am I on speaker?"
"Uh, maybe." Yoosung said. I frowned.
"Yoosung, you know how much I hate being on speaker." I complained. He laughed. "Don't laugh! It's not funny! You know how awful my voice sounds." I whined.
"Nah. It's cute." Saeyoung said. I blushed. "Well me and little Gamer here have to go. Talk to you later."
"Yeah. You guys have fun." I said.
"Bye y/n!" Yoosung said and hung up. I smiled and sat down in my swivel chair. I groaned from boredom. I got on my phone and looked through the App Store. Nothing new that I haven't seen and mastered. Then I looked at one I haven't seen. I opened it up. There wasn't much about it. All it said was RFA organization. I downloaded it. I turned to my computer while it loaded. One of my buddies wanted me to play with her. I joined her and I heard her screaming at a rare monster. I laughed and helped her.
"Thanks but I've got to go." I said. "I've got a new app I want to try out." My friend laughed and I left the game. I spun around in my chair and grabbed my phone. The app had successfully installed. I clicked on it and it brought me to a screen with three little buttons and one bigger one. I clicked the bigger one. Before it let me get on, I had to input a name. I wasn't stupid and put my real name. Instead I put MC. A simple little name. My phone took me to another screen. The background looked like coding. It then said.
Unknown has entered the chatroom.
Unknown: Hello?
This was interesting. I was excited for this. A little fun. I could use this. After college she was just hanging around her house playing LOLOL. I decided to text back. The conversation went like this.
MC: ?
Unknown: Can you see this?
MC: Well no shit Sherlock. How do you think I'm texting you?
Unknown: Oh thank god. I found this phone and I want to return it to its owner.
MC: Why don't you just give it to the authorities? I'm sure they'd help you.
Unknown: I don't want to do that. I'm just a Korean student that's studying overboard. Can you please help me?
MC: Hell no. You're nuts.
Unknown: please? I promise to let you back to your own life after that.
MC: Fine but if I feel creeped out, I'm leaving.
Unknown: Thank you. I know this place very well. It's very safe.
MC: ...ok
He sent the address. I groaned and got my shoes on. I grabbed my little bookbag with my knife, phone, charger and earbuds. I rushed outside and walked to the house. I was surprising close to the house. When I arrived I realized it was an apartment. I walked to the room and got back on the chatroom.
Unknown: Do you see anything weird?
MC: Nope. Nothing.
Unknown: Why don't you go in?
MC: You must be out of your mind. I am not doing that!
Unknown: I'll leave my information.
MC: Hell no! That's fucking insane!
Unknown: Mission failed. Subject will not listen.
I freaked out. I ran towards the elevator. I clicked the button. The doors opened and a guy was standing in the middle of the elevator. He had a mask covering his mouth. I screamed. He grabbed my arm.
"Come with my pretty one. You can be my assistant." His voice rasped. I struggled to get out his grip. I kicked his shin and he grunted and let go. I ran towards the stairs. I rushed down them and tripped on the tenth step I took. I tumbled down the stairs and laid in the ground. I held my head in pain.
"Son of a bitch." I said. I heard his footsteps down the stairs. I staggered up and walked down the rest of the stairs. I felt him right behind me. His hot breath on my neck. I felt terrified for what was about to happen. He grabbed my wrist and pushed me against a wall.
"Listen to me. If you behave, I'll let you live. One sign of violence and I kill you." His voice said in my ear. I shivered and nodded. I decided to give in for now. My life was kinda on the line. He laughed and dragged my out the apartment. He pushed my into the back of a car and he got in on the other side. I scooted to the door farthest away from the kiddnapper. I shivered from both the cold and fear. I felt a little nauseous and passed out.
