Chapter 3: Classes & the Band

Y/N POV

Me and Ruby head to class to start our day, while we head there we talk as we walk to class. After we get to class, I take a seat in the back of the room and the teacher starts class.

For our last class we end up in Goodwitch's combat class. She started talking as I was getting lost in my thoughts then Malphas snapped me back to reality.

Malphas: 'Hey, kid. You should pay attention. You might get chosen to fight.'

Y/N: 'And if I do I'll win. Easily. Everyone here is weak, except Team RWBY and JNRP. Together they can go far if they stick together. But Jaune, he'll definitely need combat training. I might offer to train him, but I'm not to sure how good I'll be at teaching someone other than myself.'

Malphas: 'I think you should, he has potential. But he just isn't confident enough in himself. If he would be then perhaps his power would rival yours and Ruby's. But that's just a possibility. We might never know unless someone trains him.'

Y/N: 'Fine, after class I'll ask him if he wants me to train him and explain why I want to help him. Happy?'

Malphas chuckles.

Malphas: 'You really are an odd one, kid. Anyways it'll be a new experience for yourself. Maybe you'll both learn something from it. Maybe talk and get to know each other more so you'll be friends with team JNPR and RWBY. It would help us.'

Y/N: 'True, but don't you remember what happened las-'

Ms. Goodwitch yelled my named and snapped me back.

Y/N: "Yes, Ms. Goodwitch"

Goodwitch: "Team CRDL wishes to fight you in a 1 v 4. Do you wish to accept?"

I think to myself for a second then nod.

Y/N: "Sure."

Goodwitch: "Then go get your gear on and come back after your ready."

With that I get up and come back out in my armor and mask, to cover my eyes. I stand on one side with my sword sheathed. I inhale and close my eyes...

Goidwitch: "BEGIN!"

As soon as I heard those words I exhaled and opened my eyes to show that they're glowing blood red eyes. I unsheathed Hell's Nightmare and stood on the defensive. They simply smiled and rushed straight towards me, Dove and Sky to the left, Russel to the right and Cardin in front. I blocked Russell's attack and dodge both Sky and Dove's attack from my left. Dove and Sky hit Russel, which put his aura all the way down thus knocking him out of the match. Cardin struck his Mace downwards and created explosions towards me. I dodged his attack which completely hit Dove, knocking him unconscious.

Y/N: "Looks like somebody's team isn't well coordinated."

I say with a smirk as Sky now stands ready to my left, Cardin straight ahead.

Malphas: 'I see you're using there attacks against them. Which works easily seeing as they're just swinging wildly with no plan. If you can, you might be able to charge Cardin and-'
