Chapter 9: Problems Always Stay

As I walked through Vale I decided I'd visit a grave before heading back to Vale. So with my decision being made I took a Bullhead to Vacuo. I got out of the bullhead and exited the kingdom as I headed through the forest, with the box still in my grasp. When I reached a clearing from the forest I found multiple graves scattered around, just like I left them. I walked to the one that was covered with rocks and kneeled down beside the grave.

Upon returning to Vale I immediately notice the fleet of Atlas forces. "What in the Hell is going on here?" I say aloud to myself as I walk over to the dorms, with the box still in my hand. Once I returned to my team's dorm, and finding myself alone, I open the box and look at the papers and files. Looking at one of them I read through one of the files, with the name marked "The Cooper Sisters." I met the two of them during a mission we were hired to work on, they happened to also be there, along with Qrow. I haven't met Qrow ever since that mission.

Wonder what the old fool is up to these days. I push the thought aside and look through it to see they were from Mistral. They also were set up to attend Haven Academy, around this time. Which works in my favor, as they'll probably come during the Vytal Festival. If not I'll have to visit Haven Academy soon enough. Although before that I need to clear out the old base, no doubt it's probably infested with Grimm by now. I placed the file aside and looked at one of the papers, that was marked with "Courageous or Death." It was a letter sent to me from the White Fang, just a week prior to that mission...

I began remembering that day, remembering the blood and the bodies. Each one of them, being my own doing. I shook my head and put that paper to the side and grabbed what seemed to be a map of some sort. In truth it wasn't a map at all, it was the original design blueprints of the base. Every hidden door, room, and entrance was marked on it as well. Examining the blueprints I realized there could be 5 entrances where Grimm could bust in. Two being emergency exits, one in the tunnels underneath, the front entrance, and finally the 2 generator rooms.

As I looked over them I had decided I'd enter the place from the southern tunnel entrance, which means from there I'll just be able to see the front entrance. It'd be good to know if that entrance is still up or if it's destroyed. As I put the papers and everything away I placed the small box in my footlocker and covered it up with everything that was inside. No sooner than I closed the footlocker, my team came inside the dorm.

"Hey girls, what's going on?" "We'll Team RWBY are making a move to search for Roman and the White Fang, they got into a food fight with JNPR." Scarlett said, as they all sat on their beds. "Did anyone sob, or did Glynda stop it before anyone won?" "Glynda stopped it before it got there." Katrina answered as she took a book out and started reading it.

"That's lame. Anyways, you three want to go practice for awhile?" "Sure, I'm down for it." Emily answered, and the others agreed. So we headed off to the studio and started practicing.

Once we finished I headed out into Vale and headed to an old friend. When I arrived at the old Warehouse I went inside and stepped up to the bar. "Any chance you have the bike ready?" I asked him as I looked around. "Actually, yes. I do, it just arrived this afternoon. Come around back." He said as I walked off and through the door to the back of the warehouse. I went outside and went around to the back and found a garage like door.

After waiting for a few minutes it opened up to reveal the black sports bike I asked him to get ages ago. On one side it had "DEVIL" painted in red, while on the other it had a wolf paw print in red as well. "It looks amazing, can't wait to drive this thing around." I said as I approached the bike. "You'll need a helmet as well, unless you want to be chased over not wearing one." He stated as he threw a mirror black helmet at me. I caught it and looked at it, it was all black with a red paw print on one side.
