"You brat!! Monster!" Words of hate thrown at me didn't do much. However, the physical assault made my body ache. Each slap, kick, punch and scratch turned my body red and blue. My throat was sore from screaming but yet who cares? No one in this household does, I know that much. Then fangs punctured my neck and drank my blood, I couldn't scream anymore so I whimpered in pain as I felt my blood leaving my body. Then I was dropped onto the floor in pain.
"I wish I can just be done with you... but then I would've taken away my favorite drink whenever I'm stressed" I looked at my abuser... my mother. My father was at the door as he watched from there, not lifting a finger to help. In fact, he smiled at my pain. My agony... they then left me to myself as I bleed out. My wounds hurt but not bad enough for me to die.
I felt a small wet nose pushing my cheek and I smiled. I pet the furry head of my first and only best friend, Yuuto... even if he is just a small fox.

Unlike the normal orange and white coat most foxes have, he instead has a black overcoat with a dark grey belly, hind legs and tip of his tail. Odd colours but unique, like his golden eyes, sadly though he has a scar over his left eye. I found him in my room one day when I tried to escape from here but in the end, got punished. He was shy at first but after a while, he got used to me. He is the only who hasn't left my side, and I'm glad for that. Yuuto yelped as if to get my attention. I look to him to only see him eyeing my wounds I gained today and whimpered as if to say that he was worried. I pat his head and pointed towards the bed for him to wait there.
Yuuto did as told and jumped onto my bed waiting. I got up slowly not wanting to irritate my wounds and goes towards my bed and reached under it, grabbing bandages and some rubbing alcohol. Yuuto got it for me a while ago so I make sure to keep it hidden from my parents... no, I shouldn't call them that. What right do they have to be called that?... none at all. I know that I have other siblings but I don't know who they are, only their names and I doubt that they would know me, even if I don't know them, I would hold them dear... Yuuto then jumped onto my lap and nuzzled into my stomach, wanting the attention. I chuckled and pet his dark fur as he somehow purred in content. I gave a small smile towards him and held him towards my chest, hugging him as I lied down on my makeshift bed. I can't even talk because if I did, all the abuse would get much worse.
I stay silent as I looked through the small glass window which was barred with iron. I know I have to get out of here soon but how? The staff may not treat me like them but they are still loyal towards them, so they wouldn't be much help... I can't think if there is a spoiled fox trying to get my attention at every moment. I continued petting Yuuto until his breathing calmed down and he didn't move. I followed Yuuto as my eyes slowly closed and I let sleep take over me to try to ease the pain.
