Hours had went by, Jacob had fallen asleep against the tree trunk his head falling sideways onto her shoulder.

(Y/n) continued to stare at the stars deep in thought she hadn't even noticed Alice nor Jasper make their way up behind her,

feeling something soft drap over her shoulders she finally looked away from the sky and back at the two;

"Thank you." (Y/n) say, voice coming out as a whisper, she didn't want to wake Jacob up, Alice nodded her head while Jasper gave a small smile,

"No problem, plus family sticks together." Alice says sitting down on top of the tree trunk followed by Jasper soon after doing the same,

"I'm sorry about earlier." (Y/n) says aiming for Jasper with her words her eyes faced the sky, "It's fine little darling.";

Jasper southern voice was thick through the night, it cut through the silence and eased her in a calming way.

"How are you holding up?" Alice askes as she lays her head against Jasper's shoulder his arms reaching up and wrapping itself around her,

as a way of keeping her warm, even when he knew she didn't get cold seeing as how she was already cold.

"I'm- I'm getting better." (Y/n) words come out in a soft tone slightly with a studder but not to much of it, only in the beginning.

"You know Edward never meant to hurt you." Alice says, "He just wants to protect you."

"Seems like he wants to protect Bella as well, he could've told me she was his ex. I wouldn't have reacted as badly, but instead he lied."

(Y/n) takes a deep breath followed by a sigh, "He didn't tell me she was his ex and, he didn't tell me he proposed to her either."

"She's also his blood singer, but I guess that's not helping ease your nerves." Jasper says.

"No, not one bit."
