05. Chapter 5.

I wake up and see blurry white spots. I see a man with a gun. Next thing I knew I was in a house tied to a chair with the rope burning my hands. Kate and Ashton and Kevin were with me too.

"Now you kids look at the camera and say what you need to say," the man said. He had a gun to my head. I cried. I looked into the camera.

"My name is Mia. And, we need your help, if you don't give the men 1,000 dollars, he will shoot me. Please help us," I said. The camera turned off.

"Get down!" The man said. I was able to get out of the ropes.

"Don't. You. Ever. Tell us that!" I yelled. I got on the chair and flipped over it. I punched the guy in the face and kicked him along with the other ones. One guy had a gun on the ground. I went to get it but he grabbed me and grabbed the gun and put it to my neck.

"Now. Who wants to volunteer?" He asked. There was a long silence.

"I will." Kevin said. "I'll do it. I'll risk my life."

"Kevin no. Please no." I begged. The man pushed me to the ground.

"Your too easy. Your her boyfriend. But I'll shoot you anyway." The man said. Kevin got out of the ropes and shot the man. But before the man fell dead, he shot me.

"Mia!" Kate yelled. I fell to the ground and everyone went to me. I looked at my bullet wound. I put my hand on Kevin's cheek.

"I love you. Don't forget that," I said. I closed my eyes.

"No!" Kevin yelled.

I felt like I was in a kaleidoscope. I see pictures and memories of my old life. That scene was just a dream thank god. I see Kevin and I kiss. The day I met Kate and Ashton. The day I was born and playing the violin. Then it all disappeared.

I wake up in the hospital. I open my eyes and see that I'm ok and I will be an orphan.

"Mia?" Kevin asked. I looked to see him holding my hand. I smiled a little.

"Kevin?" I asked.

"Oh my god. Are you ok?"

"I'm fine. Where's Cassidy?"

"Your sister?"

"Yes."

"She's in the ICU. But she's doing ok." He looked worried. He needed to say who my new foster family is.

"How is it?"

"What?"

"Kevin. Who is my new foster family?"

"You really want to know?" I nodded my head. He sighed and looked everywhere then at me. "Kate's family. They are going to take care of you Mia. They are really nice people."

"What about you?"

"I'm going on tour with my band. I'm going to be gone for a while. Promise me you will try and sit up front?"

"I will I promise. I'm going to miss you so much."
