Chapter Four

......................................................................

And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy.            - Revalation 13:1

Chris' POV

Boy did I have a Hangover.

But, the thing is, I dont remember drinking.

Ugh, it feels like I was water boarded.

Board. Oujia Board, its all coming back to me now. The Oujia Board prank that turned into something paranormal. The name, Ashton, who was Ashton? And where the hell is everyone else?

So many questions I didn't know the answer to. I began to pick myself up off of the damp ground of the forest, but I stopped myself when I heard whispering.

"Yes, I understand what I have to do" a familar voice said in a soft whisper.

"Take the girl, make them believe. You know what you have to do Ashton. Do not fail me." another voice hissed.

"Yes I understand Tate."

"Go now, the moon is at its lowest point."

The voices halted and I heard a rustling in the bushes. Thank God I still have my flashlight tucked inside my Jacket pocket.

I took it out and pointed it towards the spot where the noise was coming from.

"Cassie?" I gasped as Cassie stepped out into the clearing. It was Cassie, but something about her was different.. her hair was all tangled, and she was barefoot and covered in dirt.

She didn't say anything as she slowly approached me. Her eyes were dark, matching her demeanor.

"Cassie what are yo--" I was cut off by Cassie sliping her hand around my throat and lifting me up into the air. I was gasping for air and flailing my arms and legs, but Cassie seemed to be overcome with some kind of super human strength. I tried grabbing onto a lock of her tangled hair, I pulled as hard as hard as I could to see if she would loosen her grip from my neck, but it was no use she wouldn't budge. I felt weighted down as the last little bit of air I had exited my lungs.

"Cassie isn't home at the moment" were the last words she said to me before I heard a loud snap and then blackness overtook me. The last thing I remember is looking into the eyes of pure evil, and then complete darkness. The darkness has me.

.................................................................................

James' POV

Anti-Christ.

The word kept repeating itself inside my head. I didn't know what it meant exactly but I did know it was a evil person. Entity, I don't think that amount of evil can be classified as human.

"Cara, you wouldn't care to explain the definition of anti-christ for us to better understand exactly what it is do you?" I question

"Of course, the anti-christ is described as a great antagonist expected to fill the world with wickedness and to reign until the end of time."

"Oh I guess that explains it pretty well" I half laugh

"Lets try to get some of this mess off of my windsheild so we can get the hell out of here" I exclaim

"Wait a minute" Seirra comments.

"Wheres Chris?"

"I thought he was with us?" I say

"I haven't seen him since we were in that dumb Ouija cirlce" she says

"I haven't seen him either, what about you Cara" Matt says

"Nope, Cassie?"

Cassie stays silent. She says nothing, just stares at the ground looking at nothing in particular.

"Okay.... I take that as a no. I guess we should go look for him then." I say.

"We should check the clearing we were at originally, do you guys remember how to get there?" Cara says,

"Yeah lets go, follow me" I say as I grab a flashlight and begins leading us back to the clearing.

The forest seems thicker than it was before. I could feel droplets of blood sliding down my arms and legs from getting my skin stuck on briars. I kept stumbling over my feet trying to avoid fallen trees and branches.

Finally we reach the clearing. Its so dark I can barely see anything, even with the flashlight. I see Cassie's backpack along with the blanket we were all sitting on. One of the flashlights lays in the center, still on. The Oujia board is nowhere sight, and neither is Chris.

I continue to shine my flashlight across the clearing when I spot something.

It looks like a body, lying on the ground., the arms and legs are sprawled out at weird angles.

"Oh god Chris!!!" Sierra says rushing to the limp body lying on the ground.

I inch my hand to Chris' neck which looks swollen and purple, I feel no pulse.

Chris is dead.

I see blood seeping throught the front of his shirt, so I lift it up a bit.

'CCEPERIT'

Was carved into Chris' chest along with the same inverted cross that was scribbled across my windsheild.

We all gasp, except Cassie instead she looks up, her eyes dark and laughs as she speaks.

"It has begun" she snarls.
