Philip pov.

Today the day, it is the finals of high schools tennis game, i'am very nervous and excited at same time, but my parents always said "there's no need to be nervous, be confident" yea.

"Attention everyone! The game will start in 30 mins!" The speaker said letting all players, fans, and family,

"Yo Phil! Are you ok?" The voice surprised me when it is just my partner and good friend Tasha,

"Oh! Y-Yea fine just . . . A little nervous that's all hehe!" I fake laugh when I felt my head sweat a little,

"Hhmmm. . . Are you sure? You know you can tell me anything ok
I'm your friend And I'll always be there if something wrong."

"I'm sure Tasha I'm fine and thanks Tasha I appreciate it" I said scratching the back of my head,

"No problem pal, and make sure to get ready for the game!" Tasha said walking away to stretch a little and probably going to say hi to her girlfriend Lucy real quick if she got time, *sigh* I wish I have someone to date, the problem with me is that my best friend Nicolai also has a boyfriend named "Jamie", his the schools photographer for school news, posters, year books and other things.

Don't get me wrong, I'm happy for Nicola and Jamie but the problem is that sometimes when I go hang out with them (or Tasha and Lucy) I'm like always the third wheel and can't help but feel sad and depressing, I just wish I could be with someone just that special someone in be in my life to make me the happiest boy alive.

"In 20 minutes everybody until the game start!!"

I sigh getting up and practice or something, until someone called my name.

"Hey Philip!"

It was just my best friend Nicolai waving at me,

"Oh, hey nicollaaaaiiiiiiiii!" I said getting up walking to him to say hi or something,

"Are you ready to win for us! You are one of our greatest players in this school!"

"Ha, yep sure am" I said rubbing the back of my head doing a half smile.

"Are you sure? You look a little . . . Sad, are you ok?" Nicolai give me confused and sad look on his face, I know I shouldn't lie to friends that their isn't a problem even though their is.

"Oh yes! I'am really I'm just . . . nervous that all for the tennis match" I said half smiling to my best friend that it is all good, but I do know he doesn't believe it so he just pretend to shrug it off like nothing happen, I know he is gonna ask again later on or so.

"So nicolai. . . How are things with you and Jamie?~" I ask raising my eyes brows up and down (I seriously don't know what's that called 😩) making his cheeks blush hard,

"Aaaggghhhh Philip!" Nicolai yelled covering his face with his hands while I giggle with him,

"I'm just kidding I didn't mean like that goof ball"

"O-oh . . . Ok I thought you mean something else, hehe, but yes, things are doing great with me and Jamie" Nicolai said moving a pice of strand of his hair away from his face "but can't you believe it?! We've dated for 2 wonderful years! Can't you believe it?!" Nicolai said smiling wide and blushing so hard like a rose, but then his experience change to a sad look "Oh! S-Sorry Philip . . . I didn't mean to rub it in your face"
