Turning Back When I'm Stuck

Life is too short.
Feeling uncomfort,
When times have passed,
But still stucked in the past.

Even if time can flashback,
Events can never reenact,
Nor fate can be defeated,
Because opportunities are limited.

Saying goodbyes,
Looking right through your eyes,
Swimming in the center of lies,
When moments shattered into memories.

How am I supposed to turn my back,
When I'm already stuck,
From your hugs, even if it's not?
It seems like an endless dot.

How to, or should I?
Can I even say hi,
When I am this shy?
All I can say was bye.

I'm not sure with these feelings,
Is it this joy that clings,
Or am I just sappy,
Which makes my day happy?

But you said it's too late to have a date,
Because I am not your soulmate.
Boy, it will never be too late,
If you have just opened your gate.
