Prologue

   Disclaimer: I do not own the characters or settings of Naruto at all and I am only creating this story for entertainment purposes.

She fearfully ran, tried to rather, through the thick woods. Hoping she would outrun the snake that might be chasing her. Her tail was down, due to stress and nervousness. She was terrified, terrified that this might be the end of her life. Her clan was now destroyed, and there was nothing she could do. She was too scared, too scared to die.
    
Tears now flooded her blurry vision, making it more blurry. Blaming herself for she didn't do anything. But she was too young, too youthful. Her legs couldn't take it anymore, for she was swiftly running for half an hour because her chasers wouldn't stop. Her legs failed, making her petite body fall. She didn't give up, she stood up, but before she could continue to dash through the thick woods, a hand was placed on her shoulder.

She did not dare to look up, for she was too frightened.'I guess this is the end' she thought. She let out a blood- curdling scream out of fear. "Don't worry little girl, we are harmless." The ninja with his black hair covering his eye said. "What's your name?" The other one that placed his hand on her shoulder asked.

The girl hesitated for a moment but still answered. "H-Hashiya Aiko." She purred.

The two ninja locked their shocked eyes together. "Hashiya?" She looked up, and nodded. Her eye lids were starting to get heavy, she no longer heard what were the ninja talking about."Isn't she the legendary summoner?"

"You are the last survivor of your clan."

Then she passed out.

AIKO
 

  "Run Aiko! RUN!!" Mama told me as she was fighting the snake. "Mama!" Doing the complete opposite of what Mama told me, I ran towards her, wanting to wrap my tiny arms around her. Just as I was getting close to Mama I felt something slippery and long wrap around me.

"Snake! MAMAAA!!" I cried out but she was also wrapped around a snake.  I bit the snake using my sharp cat teeth and I was dropped. Mama could've done the same but she can't, for she wasn't a Hayashi. I tried to help Mama but it was useless.

I looked up to see Papa cut the snake and Mama was dropped."Papa!" Being happy to see him, I happily ran towards him. "Aiko stop! Stay away from this!" Papa exclaimed."B-but Papa.".

"Now, now, this isn't the time to have a family bonding right now isn't it? I'm sorry Aiko, you are coming with me. Don't worry, your parents will be together." The snake chuckled darkly. "Because I will the both of them!!" He laughed evilly.

"RUN AIKO!" Both of my parents yelled. They knew I would refuse though. "AIKO LISTEN AT US FOR ONCE!" With that, I started to run away tears brimming my eyes.

"Oh you think I would let her get away?" The snake chuckled and ran his long tongue around his lips. He ran after me but Papa blocked him and summoned his dog. "Orochimaru, and you think I would let you get her?" Papa barked. "I'm sorry Akio, but I'm only interested in the cat." The Orochimaru guy smirked. "And won't let you get her." Papa growled

And with that I continued to run, not wanting to see my parents fight and get hurt.

    I woke up, seeing four white walls, chairs, and a bed that I am laying on. Wait where am I? I tried to stand up but only to feel excruciating pain in my body. I meowed in pain. 'ITAIII' it really hurts. Suddenly, the door opened to reveal a lady wearing a white uniform which I assume is a nurse.

I tilted my hide to the side and looked at her. She sighed in relief. "I see that you are finally awake." I nodded. "What happened?" I questioned. "You were found by Kotetsu and Izumo running, and then you passed out." Running? Kotetzu? Izumo? "Excuse me, but I need to call someone important. It will just be quick." She snapped me out of my thoughts and gave me a closed- eye smile. I nodded.

Hmm.... what a dream... oh wait! That happened earlier ago! Mama and Papa fought the Orochimaru snake and said that I should run. And the two ninjas which I assume is Kotetsu and Izumo chased me and I thought they were Orochimaru.

"Hello little girl." An old croaky voice said. I snapped and looked at the owner of the voice. He is wearing a white coat, he has a white beard, a pipe on his mouth, and a funny hat. He looks pretty old maybe he is like in his late 60's? He looks like I could trust him.

"Hello old man!" I said. He chuckled. "You were found by Kotetsu and Izumo, and I believe your name is Hashiya Aiko if I am not mistaken?" He asked.

"Hai! How about you? What's your name?"I asked. "I am Sarutobi Hiruzen, The Third Hokage." He said. "Hokage?" I asked for the second time. He nodded. "The Hokage is the Kage of Konohagakure, a title bestowed as the village's leader. The Hokage is generally regarded as the strongest shinobi in the village." He explained.

The Hokage and nurse talked about some stuff that I didn't really hear for I was thinking about the earlier events. Right! I was running away from Orochimaru! Then these two ninjas found me and talked about some stuff. There was one thing I heard though I can't remember it. Hmmm, anyways I'm glad they didn't ask why I looked like a cat because it will be such a drag to explain everything.

"Are you listening?" I snapped out of my thoughts and looked at the Hokage. "Gomenasai old man, I beg your pardon?"

"You are the last survivor of your clan..."

Huh? What about Mama? What about Papa?
