Chapter 2 The Wildlands

             We start to approach Earth and activate our cloaking shield when we enter orbit. I look around and smirk as I see that we are landing in a jungle area my favorite places to hunt.

"Perfect a jungle region," I say with enthusiasm as I quickly get up out of my seat and open the cockpit climbing out.

Mo'thaal shakes his head and follows me out activating his cloak. As we walk we look around and hear weapon fore off in the distance, we glance at each other and nod in agreement to investigate further.

"So where exactly are we," he ask me as we walk.

"We are in what these half-lings call Bolivia," I say as I look around checking with all my visor settings for any potential threat.

He stops and and looks around growling, then looks at me and tackles me as a plasma shot flys above us.

"What the hell was that who shot at us?!" I yell as we scramble up.

As we stand up and grab our weapons we see a figure uncloak and laugh walking towards us in a smug confident manner.

"Who are you why are you attacking us" I yell still not seeing his armor due to him walking in the shadows of the trees.

"Oh come on you know who I am. Hmmmm. I didn't expect to see Mo'thaal and his mate in my areas." He says as he finally steps into the sun light revealing who he really is.

"Ah than'toar good to see you but why in the hell are you shooting at us?!" Mo'thaal replies walking towards him.

"I've had some bad bloods come through here recently and another predator is here but I allowed him to hunt here. There is a group of humans that have been hunting us it's quite funny to watch honestly. Anyway the other hunter's ship crash landed here so in the meantime while he is waiting on rescue he is having his own time here." Than'thoar explains as he looks at his wrist blades.

"Ah well we landed to get some trophies and warm up before we embark to the serpent home world," I say as I sheathe my blades and scan the area.

"Oh are you now hmm well that's quite a quest you have there sounds like a fun mind if I join," he ask us as we hear more weapon fire in the background as well as a plasma caster.
We start to walk away from the area watching our backs for anything that would like to spark a fight with us. After a hour of walking we come cross a large area that appears to be a base of some sort.

"The humans call this place the Unidad whatever that means, but if you want a challenge this is the place." Toar explains to us as we crouch in thick foliage of the trees.

"Well we did want a warm up and this is only our first stop of this planet we have to go through every environmental situation to get some what close to ready," I remark as I grab one of my new smart disks and activate my cloak, the others follow suit.
We get closer and closer to the base until a guard gets curious and starts walking towards us I smirk and look over and Toar and Thaal.

"I have a plan watch this," I say as I stand up and walk into a small clearing between some trees but still hidden from the base.

The guard continues walking towards us until he moves the shrubbery aside and walks into the clearing and looks around putting his rifle on his back and enjoying the fresh air. I come around a tree and walk towards him my tall 9 foot appearance startled him and he falls back. "W-what the hell are you?!" The guard ask as he scrambles. My bio-mask translates the speech so I understand it and I speak back my bio-mask translating it to his language.

"It's ok I'm not here to hurt you do me one thing and I'll let you live, tell me where a side entrance is to your base and if it is locked unlock it. No go and if you raise the alarms I will have your head mounted on a stick," I say as I unsheathe my wrist blades and point them at him.

He nod and runs back and as he re-enters the base Toar and Thaal approach me and simultaneously ask "how did you manage to get him to understand you and well not attack and why didn't you kill him?"

"Well he was sick and I fell like that will make things a little easier on entry,"  I say as I walk towards the base seeing some of the cameras go down, I activate my cloak and walk into the base.

"That was easy now let's have some fun," Toar says as we all nod and go in our own ways.
The base was considerably lager for a human earth base, and we all went our own ways Toar took left, Thaal went right, and I went straight. We cut our way through the base silently and ferociously killing one by one almost playing, toying with them. I must admit it was fun to uncloak and watch the humans reactions before a wrist blade through the chest. As I traversed the buildings I grew tired of collecting human skulls so I decided to take the metal objects off of them, they seemed important and I'll do a scan on them when we get back to the ship. Some time passes and we all meet back up at the same place where we started showing off our new trophies.

"I got new skulls and bones to add to my list," Thaal boast looking at Toar with shear confidence.

"That's cute but check this out," he says as he shows us not only the new skulls but some metal rings with jewels embedded within them.

"That's intriguing never seen so many jewels but I have these," I say as I reveal all the medals I collected as well as found a D-50 pistol. "I plan to studies these and learn what they are, how they work, and their significance."

"Very well.....it seemed to be getting late let's head back to our ships before next sun rise," Toar says as he starts to walk towards the ships.
We nod and follow suit and have a conversation about recent events and asking if Toar would like to come with us on our quest, which he happily accepted. We near our ships the suddenly we hear gunfire, plasma caster shots, then laughter followed by the count down of the self distrust sequence then silence after the explosion.

"It appears that he was out performed at least he died in combat we will revue his actions through the recording from his bio-mask and determine what happens next," I say as we enter our ships and take off.

"Where to next love," Thaal asks me as we fly into orbit Toar right behind us.

"The city a place known as Los Angles,the concrete jungle," I reply as I punch in the coordinates. "This is just the start of our preparations for we have many roads ahead of us."

"Yes very true let these roads lead us to warm sands and as well as success," Thaal replies to me as we begin to approach the concrete jungle.
