Grayson's P.O.V
*Play music when I say so*
The car ride is around 20 minute long so it shouldn't take that long.
Lilly and I have been talking for around 2 weeks now so I think it's the right time to do this. I've contacted Autumn to ask her what she favourite flowers are which I found out were white roses. I've also asked her what her favourite song was and she said
Autumn Leaves by Ed Sheeren.
I asked Cameron since she was in town to set all of this up for me.
I took her to my favourite spot in all of Los Angeles which is a hill that looks out to the Hollywood sign and there's a bit of an ocean view with it.
The sun is now setting because it's around 8:30 and it's July so it gives us more daylight. I've blindfolded Lilliana and she has no clue where where going and why but I really hope she likes it.
Lilliana's P.O.V
"Are we almost there yet?" I pout making him laugh once again.
I don't have a clue where we're going and I'm starting to get really nervous. I hate surprises because I never know what to expect and for me that's a big thing because I have some what trust issues when I don't know that person very long. I trust Grayson, he's not someone to lie or do anything unkind. He's sweet and generous and I don't think anything or anyone would change that.
"We'll be there soon I promise" I hear him say but it's obvious he has a smile on his face by the way he's speaking.
"Can you at least give me a hint pleaseee" I really extend the e because I know I might win him over by sucking up to him.
"Fine, it's a date" he says pulling up to what seems like a bumpy driveway.
"Awwe" I say, "you know gray, I've always wanted to go on a date with you" I add with a smile.
"Good" he replys, "because we're here" he adds once again I could tell he was smiling by the sound of his voice.
He opens my door and I hear him giggle nervously because I probably look so dumb with a blindfold on. He leads me to the place which only takes about 5 minutes. We stop and he takes the blindfold off making my hair messy. I couldn't believe what I saw, he's so amazingly cute I just wanna hug him to death. There he was standing in front of an oak tree surrounded by fairy lights. He had a bouquet of white roses which are my favourite and patted down a blanket on the edge of the lookout which you could see all of Loss Angeles. It was beautiful. The sun was setting and from a distance you could see the ocean waves crashing up on the high rocks by the pier.
All the lights from the city were coming on and it was amazing.
"You did all of this" I say forming the shape of an o with my mouth then covering it with my hand anxiously.
"I had Cameron and Autumn help me but yea it was all my idea" he says with a smile just as big as mine.
"Thank you, Grayson" I lean in and give him a tight hug as the song autumn leaves by Ed Sheeran plays from the record player that rested beside the oak tree.
*Play music now*
"May I have this dance?" He says with a slight giggle.
"Of course" I reply with a smile.
"You look beautiful tonight" he says wrapping his hands around my waist.
"Thank you!, You look very handsome as well" I say with a smirk.
"Not as beautiful as you" he says with the same iconic smirk played on his perfect face.
"You know gray, I'm very amune to your charm" I say.
"I already knew that" he says leaving a kiss on my fore head.
"Lilly?" He questions me with a nervous look on his face.
"Yes gray?" I reply.
"Can I ask you something important?" He asks.
"Of course, anything" I say with a conserved look on my face.
He pulls away and looks at me with his familiar hazel eyes. "Would you do the honours of being my girlfriend?" He ask me still ver nervous.
"Yes, on million times yes, Grayson!" I say with a smile kissing his cheek.
"I've been waiting forever to ask you that" he says with a smile.
"You know what else I've been waiting forever to do?" He asks me.
"What?" I ask with a giggle making him giggle as well
He cups my face with his right hand hand and rubs my cheek lightly, he tucks a strand of my blonde hair with his left hand and smiles.
"This" he says leaning in.
Our lips meet and mold together perfectly, my arms wrap around his neck and his arms go down to my lower waist. This night is so perfect. I couldn't ask for anything better because this is all I could ever ask for.
He pulls away and looks into my blue eyes and I look into his hazel ones, "I love you Lilly" he says leaving an other kiss on my fore head. "I love you to Grayson" I say leaning my head into the crease of his neck and taking in his presence.
He pulls away and leaves an other soft kiss on my lips as he leads me to the blanket on on the ledge of the lookout. "Thank you for such an amazing night" I say smiling, resting my head on his shoulder and looking out over Los Angeles. Damn am I lucky to have such an amazing person in my life.
Grayson's P.O.V
I'm so glad that she's enjoying this.
The one thing I still can't proses is that she's mine. How'd I get so lucky and how do I deserve someone as kind and caring as her. This girl I tell you, she's one of a kind and I couldn't ask of anything better, she's all I could ask for. Ethan was right, he was the one who called that we'd be perfect for each other. I can't wait to spend every day with her. I love her so much and I never want to leave her side.
*Stop music*
After we cuddled for what seemed like an hour which I personally didn't mind, we got back into my bronco and drove back my my apartment where Autumn and Ethan were cuddling on the couch and watching Finding Nemo. Yes that's a kid movie but Ethan and I love watching Disney movies and so do they apparently. I take Lilly up my my room and we watch Netflix in my bed and we cuddle. About half way into the first episode of Stranger Things Her eyes were getting heavy and mine were too. We ended up falling asleep and I didn't mind that she was in the same bad as me because were a couple now and as long as I'm with her then everything's okay.
