RJ couldn't stop thinking about Dei.
"Wow! She's even more beautiful up close!" he thought. She had long brown hair, a caramel complexion, a svelte figure, large doe eyes, a killer smile, and luscious lips! Oh, those lips!
He wondered if it's too soon to ask her out, as he has just met her! He really wants to see her again, but he didn't want to scare her away.
Meanwhile, next door, Dei was also thinking about RJ.
"What a nice guy! And handsome, too! I'm glad he came over and introduced himself. I could use a friend right now." she thought.
Their street, although normally peaceful and has an amazing view of the lake, could make one feel lonely and isolated. The houses, after all, were few and far between.
A knock at the door startled her from her thoughts. Dei stood up and looked out the window. Her heart beat faster when she saw that it was RJ.
"Hi!" Dei said, when she opened the door.
"Hi, Dei! Listen, I don't want to seem pushy, but do you have any plans for tonight? If not, would you like to have dinner with me this evening?"
It was unexpected but, nonetheless, it made Dei happy and excited.
"Thanks. I would love to!" she said.
"Great!" RJ said, a bit relieved. "I'll come for you at say 7:00?"
"I'll be ready!" Dei said.
"See you later, then!" RJ smiled.
"Yes, see you!" Dei said, then closed the door.
Now, it's Dei's turn to smile from ear to ear!
