Gladion has been trying to ask (Y/N) out millions of times. Every single time he got interuppted and ended up not asking her out. He couldn't explain his feelings towards her really.

He found her infuriating but at the same time he loved her and wanted to protect her.

It was one of those days when he decided to ask her out once again. He invited her to the beach by Hau'oli City.

"Hey (Y/N)." Gladion greeted his crush as she walked up to him.

"Hey Gladion." She stated as she looked at Gladion. The boy took this as a chance to ask her out.

"So (Y/N) I was wondering if-" He started the question but was cut of mid sentence by a boy he knew all too well. Hau.

"Hey Gladion! (Y/N)!" Hau shouted as he run up to the two trainers as Lillie followed behind him. Gladion face-palmed and grunted in frustration.

"Damn it! I had enough of you interfering Hau!" Gladion shouted as he swiftly turned towards (Y/N). He then smashed his lips onto (Y/N's).

Lillie and Hau stood there in utter shock. (Y/N) and Gladion were both blushing madly as Gladion created some distance between them. Suddenly Hau walked up to Gladion and pushed him away from (Y/N).

"What do you think you're doing!?" Hau exclaimed as he placed his hands on his hips as he looked down at Galdion who was now on the ground.

"Well what do you think I'm doing?! Im expressing my love towards (Y/N)!" Gladion exclaimed as he stood up and brushed off his clothes.

(Y/N) just stood there blushing and utterly shocked. "Keep away from her! She's like a sister to me and I'm not planning to let you break her heart!" Hau shouted angrily.

"H-Hau...you don't have to be so overprotective!" (Y/N) stated flustered as she pushed past Hau.

"So does that mean you feel the same towards me? N-not that it's important or anything..." Gladion said the first part almost desperately but composed him self.

"Y-yeah maybe I do...but it's not important I guess." (Y/N) stated bluntly but her cheeks were slightly red.

"You know you're really annoying but I take that as a yes." Gladion stated with a sigh. It was at that moment Lillie giggled softly. "What's so funny?!" Gladion exclaimed.

"Nothing it's just you two have a lot in common." Lillie said with a smile on her face. Hau seemed to be pondering to himself.

"Alright Gladion we need to talk serioulsy..." Hau said as he looked at Gladion sternly. The blonde boy gulped audibly.

"Ok remember if you do anything that'll make her cry, you'll have to deal with me. If you eve dare to break her heart, I'll break your face understood?" Hau said seriously as Gladion nodded.

"Cool you've got my appreciation." Hau said smiling widely as he gave Gladion a pat on the back.

"Okay now could you give us some time alone?" Gladion asked, annoyed. Immediately Lillie and Hau left the two trainers alone.

"So um maybe we-" Galdion begun saying but was cut off by (Y/N) smashing her lips on his. He held her by her waist as she put her arms around his neck. They pulled apart, looking into each others eyes lovingly.

"I love you." He stated with a small smile.

"I love you too and I'm aware that you've been trying to ask me out since forever." (Y/N) said with a laugh.

"H-how?!" Gladion asked in disbelief, blushing. (Y/N) Just winked and laughed again.

"Its quite funny actually, the look on your face every time you got interuppted." She said laughing more.

Gladion got really annoyed by her behaviour. She gave him a quick kiss on the cheek and set off, running away from him.

"H-hey!" Gladion shouted after her as he started running towards her.

"Catch me if you can!" The girl exclaimed.

Gladion finally caught up to her and they spent a fantastic time together...well Gladion kept getting annoyed but he still had a good time...
