Long time no see~Gladion X Reader

Normal P.O.V

(Y/N) was part of Team Skull, Gladions assistant to be exact. They worked together and after they got to know each other better, they became best friends. (Y/N) wanted to leave Team Skull and start a new life...she didn't want to be a thief anymore.

"You can't leave like this!" Gladion exclaimed. "I'm sorry Gladion but I have to leave." The (H/C) haired girl replied sadly. She turned to leave but Gladion grabbed her shoulder and turned her back to face him. "I won't let you leave, you have to stay here with me-I mean u-us" The blonde stuttered. "I'm sorry..." She said and left Gladion dumbfounded...

*Time skip 3 years later*

Your P.O.V

I got off the ferry and inhaled deeply. The salty scent of the sea filled my nostrils. I finally came back. Alola. My home region...

My first stop was Malie City. I used to live there so I went to my old home. After I unpacked all my things, I decided to go to Malie Garden.

I sat down on a bench and closed my eyes.
"(Y/N)...is that you..." I heard a familiar voice say. I opened my eyes to see Gladion. "Gladion...long time no see..." I said whilst standing up and turning towards him...

Gladion's P.O.V

It was really her. I can't believe it. "After all this time, the only thing you say is long time no see...(Y/N) I missed you so much." I said and wrapped my arms around her. I felt her flinch but she returned my gesture. "I missed you too Gladion." She said. We broke the embrace. "Where have you been all this time?" I asked. "Well it's a long story...why not talk about it whilst eating some malasadas?" She suggested and playfully punched my arm. I smiled. "Sure." Was my answer.

She told me that she had some family back in Kanto so she went to them. She also told me everything that happened since she left. She had trained with Red in Pallet town and gained lots of experience.

We finished our food and decided to go on a trip so she could see all the changes. We started off with Ula'Ula island. "So...I said so much about me and you haven't said a word about yourself." She said her (H/C) locks blowing in the wind. "Well..." I told her about how Lily left with our mother to Kanto and how I became the head of Aether Paradise. I must admit that I've had a crush on her and actually wanted to tell her the day she left but...I didn't have the courage to...maybe now I should...maybe it's not the right time..."Gladion? What's wrong?" My thoughts got interrupted by (Y/N). She was standing in front of me waving her hand on front of my face.

I blushed at the closeness. "Gladion...do you have a fever because your face is all red." She confessed whilst placing her hand on my forehead. I quickly pulled away and became even more flustered. "Gladion...oh...I get it now...you're blushing!" She exclaimed suddenly. I wanted to say something but when I opened my mouth no words came out.

I saw her smirk and walk closer to me. I backed up and hut a tree. She placed a finger to my lips. "Gladion...I love you." She said and smashed her lips onto mine. I was shocked but kissed back. The kiss was long and passionate. Once we pulled away to catch out breath, I decided to confess my feelings. "I love you too (Y/N)." I said with a smile. She returned the gesture and hugged me.

Hand in hand they took a tour of Alola for the rest of the day...
