Her secret

Chapter 5

"W-what?" I nod my head "I'm leaving...for a while" he stares at me for a brief moment and he shakes his head rapidly "no your not leaving where the heck will you even go." I stop to think, to be honest he doesn't need to know. ''That is none of ur business... I'm going to find a car and hope I can find somewhere for Jose and I'll find a hotel to stay at until I get back." And then again I start to walk up to my brothers school. "come on Aspen why are you even taking him". I stand there "I'm not telling you." He rolls his eyes in annoyance. "Azare just go back to school." I say while stopping to turn around to look at him "no... I'm going with you."he says nodding... I shake my head "huh no!" I walk inside and ask the school for a early pick up for Jose . The girl then asked for my ID And I pulled it out of my bag. Then the girl called up his class room. 5 minutes later  I see Jose run up to me and he jumped into my arms and drowned me in a hug. "Hey budd ,we are going to go somewhere for awhile" he nods and I grab his hand and walk out side. Then Azare walks up to us and I sigh. "You can only come if you don't bring your phone." He stares at me In confusion. " ummm why."
"It has a tracking device" he then nods in realization.
After 2 hours we are finally here at Spawns a rental company to rent a car.
We find a almost broken but healthy car. I hand the man the money and we were sent off with our car. "So how is this going to happen." Azare asked getting into the car with Jose's stuff. "Azare listen you are going home after this ... I want to take Jose to a foster home." I tell him trying to figure out how the car even works. "But then we could get in trouble." he says while trying to help Jose with the seat belt. "I know but I'm not going to risk the life of Jose's ,just so I can stay at school with you." I say as we start to drive off to the place I've been thinking to go to.       "what is there to even risk." My mind goes blank then back to reality,then I shake my head "You don't need to know Ace." He nods slowly and shortly turns to stare out at the window.

I look in the back seat to find Jose asleep. I turn around and wake up Jose. Once he's awakes, I get out of the car to help him get out of his car seat. Walking up to the place I stop. "I don't know if I can do this" I turn to tell Azare. "Your fine, your coming back for him right?" I nod and ring the bell. Some girl answers the door and smiles. "Hi I'm Sherma,and you must be Aspen right? The girl that called a few hours ago" I nod and she invited us in. "Let me guess ,teen pregnancy?" Me and Azare stare at her in shock, as she laughs nervously "no?....okay." Azare shifts uncomfortably "look I found this boy hoping that you can keep him for a while...." she stares at us suspiciously and jumps up "For sure sweetie , why not?" I give her a thumbs up and bring Jose to the side "what's going on ?" He said with a sad smile "listen we will be back for you I promise and I left you all your favorite toys okay? Don't tell anyone about anything at home you here me? Cause if they figure out our secret they won't let me come back for you okay?" He nods and I hug him for a full straight minute. As I grab Azare's wrist I turn to tell Jose I love and soon enough I'm in the car. I told Azare to drive cause I didn't feel very good. So he told me to go to sleep. I wake up to see that we are in a motel parking lot. I sit up to see out the window ,Azare talking to the desk person. Once he's done he comes back to the car to gather our stuff. "why are we here?" I rub my eyes "we aren't going to drive in the dark" he says as he continues to get out things. I nod not wanting to fight back so I just get out of the car and he leads me to our room. When we get to the door he rubs his neck "listen the girl said that they don't have 2 beds ,so...." my eyes widen a bit and I try to make a smooth response not knowing what to say."oh umm that's okay..." he nods and opens the door and to be honest for a motel room it looks really nice. I walk in and grab my bag and put my stuff on a chair and get some clothes for a shower. I walk over to the restroom to see Azare taking off his shirt. I stop in surprise and he turns around and laugh "ha look at your face!" I slowly smile in embarrassment as he walks out and pats my shoulder. "Psst if you wanted to see me naked you should've just asked" I quickly close the door and scattered to take a shower. When I walked out clothed I notice Azare
Making a bed on the floor with pillows and blankets. I suddenly cleared my throat in confusion kinda red . "You know um you don't have to sleep on the floor."
I say putting my hair up to try and hide my nerves. "Oh I just thought that you'd think that that'll be weird" I shake me head and slowly lie in bed. As does he,while we both stare at the ceiling in awkward silence. He clears his throat as into breaking it "So why are you running away?" He
said
"Well just some stuff at home..." we sit there for a while "Divorce?" I rub my neck and nod gladly knowing he doesn't know, but why a divorce. "Um yeah just old parent fight .. you know" he nods.
