Clemont woke up to the dripping sounds of rain on the tent ceiling. He felt weight against his chest, so he grabbed his glasses, turned on a torch and sat up slightly.
Ash had fallen asleep with his head on Clemont, which made Clemont blush madly. He gently shook Ash, who groaned ' What, I'm tryna sleep ' before pulling himself upright. He stared into Clemont's deep blue eyes, almost as if he were hypnotized, before saying ' Er... hello ' ' It's half past three in the morning... Ash, you would never wake up at this time usually ' Clemont whispered, looking into Ashes half-shut brown eyes. Ash began to droop, and Clemont lay back down, letting Ash use him as a pillow again. He felt Ash shiver, and quietly asked ' Hey, are you alright?'
' Just... cold... '
Ash replied, shuddering. Around five more minutes of Ash shivering, Clemont had an idea. It was quite awkward, but he felt bad for Ash. He gently unzipped Ashes sleeping bag, and then his own, before zipping them together to make one. ' Hopefully, this should conserve our body heat. ' Clemont told Ash.
They lay on opposite sides of the bag at first, but a few minutes later, Clemont felt Ashes body against his. Clemont blushed, before carefully hugging him. Ash put his arms around Clemonts neck, causing Clemont to blush even harder. There were a few minutes where they just lay like this, silently, the rain the only thing that was stopping it from complete silence. Clemont could feel Ashes breath against his neck. Clemont, expecting that Ash had fallen asleep, quietly whispered ' You warm my heart, Ash. I love you...'
He realised, Ash had not been asleep when a few minutes later, he replied with ' I love you too Clemont... and I will forever '...
