I woke up with Trish in my arms. I smiled and moved so I was closer to him. I heard crying from the hallway of the hotel room.
'I love him, Jake. I can't talk to either of them about it and that just makes it harder. I just want her to die.'
I listened to Amber, sobbing to Jake.
'Amber, you have to tell him.'
'And, what? Get rejected? Michael doesn't love me. He has Trish.'
I stared at the ceiling of my hotel room. Did she actually just say what I think she did? I heard them moving and then get up. Andy's voice piped up.
'Babe, talk to Michael.'
'I can't, Andy. I can't face that rejection.'
I heard Trish's breathing quicken and I closed my eyes, feigning sleep. Her giggle warmed my body and then she gently clambered over me to get up. I waited for her to leave the hotel room and then focused, listening for Jinxx's breathing. When I was sure that I couldn't hear it, I pulled clothes on and climbed out of the window.
I ran into the nearby forest and quickly climbed a tree. From my vantage point, I spotted a deer and instantly lost my self-control. A low-growl ripped through my throat and I pounced. Landing on the deer, my fangs sunk into its neck. The blood poured into my mouth and I moaned. I sucked the warm, sweet liquid and drained the animal. I leant against a tree and breathed heavily as I slowly regained my self-control. I could smell the everybody from here. Hearing Trish and Amber's conversation made anger rip through me.
'You never deserved Michael, Trish. Why do you get him and not me? I've loved him for way more than you have liked him.'
'I tried for him and I don't like him. We love each other. Besides, you have Andy.'
'He knows I would rather date Micheal.'
Trish snorted 'Well he's mine. You lost out. Besides, Michael would never date a two faced whore like you.'
Amber slapped Trish and I had to bite my lip to stop myself reacting. They all thought I was still asleep. Jake suddenly got involved.
'You two stop, now. Michael is going to figure this out one day and that is going to kill him. He loves you both, Amber in a different way. But his best friend and Girlfriend fighting is going to hurt him so much.'
I decided that I had heard enough. I flitted back to the hotel room and then walked out.
'Hey Jinxx.'
He nodded at me, busy on the phone. , I then see Jake,Amber and Trish talking in the hallway of the hotel
Trish's cheek bright red.
'Trish, baby, what happened?'
she shook her head. 'It doesn't matter.'
I narrowed my eyes. I could feel the anger radiating off of Amber. It made me nervous. I could also smell her blood. It smelt absolutely gorgeous. I always had to watch myself around Amber. We all eventually drifted asleep.
