Melody 🎶
I just woke up and I check my phone to see it is eleven O'clock in the morning. I stretch my arms and legs. Man that was a good stretch. I press the home screen on my phone then I see that me and Khleo have been on FaceTime for nine hours.
I smile until I hear him snore. "Ew" I whisper and then laugh. Also on my bed is Rambo who also just woke up. I did a tsk tsk with my mouth to get him to stand up with me and walk to my bedroom door.
We leave my room and I hear music already. Ugh Ayleo is in the bathroom. The door was open and he had his speaker on singing into Klondike's brush. I laugh.
"You look stupid" I remarked.
He smacks his teeth. "Good morning to you too" he says and turns down the music.
A sleepy looking Teo comes out of his bedroom which is right by the bathroom. "Bro I hate my room being right next to the bathroom" he says in his morning voice. "When we get this new place I'm getting my own bathroom away from y'all" he slams his door.
"Well dang" Klondike comes out of her and Ayos room stretching. "Good morning"
"Good morning" I say with my innocent smile of sunshine.
"Good morning baby" Ayo kisses her cheek as they both smile.
"Your family is loud" we all hear and then jump.
I quickly realize I had the volume all the way up on my phone that Khleo was still on.
"Dang you almost gave us all a heart attack" I say with my hand on my chest.
"Who is that?" Klondike asks.
"It's Khleo. Khleo say hi to everyone" I hold my phone up.
"Good morning" he says.
They say good morning back.
I scrunch up my face, why he got me on pause.
"Fix yo face" I see his face pop up on my screen.
I smiled and went to the kitchen.
"Yup you're in the right place because it's your day to cook breakfast" Ayleo says.
I completely forgot. "Ohhh it is"
Klondike nods. "Yup"
I head towards the bathroom. "Okay give me a minute" I close the door and get in the shower. The I get out and grab my toothbrush. After brushing my teeth and washing my face I go back to the kitchen ready to cook.
I turn on the stove and put the pan on the fire. Then I go to the refrigerator and grab some butter. I let the pan heat up and pour some pancake mix into a bowl And add water. Once the batter is made I pour some into the pan.
I repeat that eight times which is enough for everybody to get two pancakes. Then, I start on the eggs. I don't like eggs so I make them for everybody else. And last but not least, bacon.
I lay some bacon on the pan. I make sure to cook two extra pieces for Rambo and Benji. As the bacon is cooking I put four plates on the table. The pancakes are still hot so I put chocolate chips on them.
Then I take out some minute maid and put it on the table. I make everybody's plates. I put Mateo's in the microwave because he probably won't be up for about another 30 to an hour depending on him.
"Food is done!" I yell and wait for them to come in. I give Rambo and Benji their bacon and watch them destroy it.
"Yay chocolate chips!" Klondike said.
