In science, we had to do a dissection of a goat's head and I think I threw up in my mouth every time I looked at the poor animal. I like dissections, just not of animals, that's just cruel and plain mean. The image of suffering was stuck in my mind all day, not just from the goat either. As I was grabbing out some food from my bag, I decided to regain my stomach strength before eating again, so I searched through my bag for a book and a lead pencil. I started drawing the only thing I knew how; anime. I drew some chibis and a few very cute (if I do say so myself) animals. I heard loud thumps, so, naturally, I looked up. I wish I hadn't. "Hayy cuntree gurl," I saw Kevin's lips curl into an evil grin, "Whatchya been smokin'? 'Cause ya arr hawt."Worst. Pick-up Line. Ever.
I looked around before speaking, "No, what have you been smoking?" Kevin looked at me like he was offended. Of course I knew he was high and it was just the drugs talking. He took a glimpse at my animal drawings and then took my book off me. "Hey! Give that back! It's private! Kevin, ugh! I need that!" His evil grin returned."Pry-vet, eh?" He arched an eyebrow. He flicked through and I stood up, losing my pencil to the floor."Kevin, I swear, if you ri--" I started to shout out until I heard a tearing sound. "You little--" I said, trying to hold back tears. I saw that Graysen was watching from down the hall, just watching this all go down. Kevin finally dropped my book and I bent down to pick it up, and the piece he tore off. I saw him manoeuvre his face and I saw his face fill with amusement as he flicked his tongue inside his head.He started to walk off, "Noice ass gurl." I turned and sat back against the wall, letting a tear roll down my face. I heard more footsteps and I curled up into a ball, hiding my face with my knees."Zia?" I heard a soft voice call for me. "Hey...Zee, look up," I removed my arms from on top of my knees and looked up at Graysen. "Zia...we should go home, you don't wanna deal with this now do you?" I shook my head and put my legs on the ground."What are you now, my brother?" He laughed gently and helped me up. I felt his arms wrap around me and I cried into his shoulder. I felt like telling him, but I don't think our situation is the best.He wrapped his arm around my neck and we walked out of school together.
