"Camp Steele?" I asked.
"Yes honey, it's in California. They help you control your Dyspraxia every week. It's only for a month don't worry. You'll be fine Halie." my dad answered.
Mom spoke up, "You'll get to come home every night. It's ok. You'll do just fine." I gave them a disapproving glare. "No thanks, I'd rather not." I stated in a toned voice.
"You have to. You've been signed up ever since you were born. Camp Steele knows all about you Halie. You get a mentor, her name is Amanda. You'll meet new people with the same disability as you!" My dad John said. I nodded and told them that it was fine then. When I got back home from my Dad's work, I gave a huge sigh as I reached my lavender room. Camp Steele, Camp Steele, Camp Steele. I kept repeating those words in my head. I mean, I was excited and all, but also nervous. Who will I meet? Will it be horrible? I just have to know it'll be okay. I'm pretty sure Amanda will be nice. She's supposed to be.
Camp Steele will be wonderful for me. I'll be able to control it, remember things, get rid of my panic attacks, and hopefully, at the end, it'll be over. No more dyspraxia. And if it ever comes back, I'll be able to say I worked hard, and got through it once in my life.
