"Here we are, our classroom for the year." My jaw drops at the sight of the normal classroom. When compared against the campus, it was the only not expensive looking area. "Why the face? It seems as if you were expecting something more." Ignoring Kaizaki, I step into the class, looking at the many faces around me. How many kids were even in this class for the matter? Since this place seemed like it was for rich kids, I imagine the tuition would be costly.
"Hey, are you just going to stand there, or are you going to actually move?" I tense up for a second. The girl staring at me, with long white hair, is kind of scaring me for some odd reason. "Oh, um," I start, and move to the side. She sighs, staring at the list that was behind me. "You shouldn't stand there like an idiot you know." She looks at me for another second, scowling. "Well? I asked for your name. It would save time rather than having YOU scan this list." "Takaomi Ohga."
"Over there. That's where you sit." She says, pointing at a desk in the very middle of the classroom. Just my luck! I was gonna be stuck in the middle where the teacher could easily pick on me, or call me out to read. Looking beside me, I see the same guy from before, (the one who called me dumb) playing games on his phone. To my right, was an empty desk, where a bag was placed on the surface of the table. "All students report to class please." I see everyone around me scramble to find their seats, and the person beside me showed up just in time.
"Cutting it close Shouto." The boy beside me says, looking past me. "Y-yeah. I got occupied in the music room." "Again? Dude it's already the first day and you've lost all sense of time?" The boy beside me, Shouto, just looks away shyly. "Just messing with you." I smile to myself, thinking that just a few weeks ago, my little brother was going through this, every single day, for the past year. I see the teacher walk in, and everyone stops what they're doing. "The name's Kaoru. I look forward to a productive year." He says, staring at the class. "Now then, since you're all third years, I assume you'll be prepared for the test at the end of second period?"
