Chapter 10: When the Bae's Away......

"So what the hell were you doing, huh" Jordan immediately questioned me when I called him back, once I got out of the shower.

"What, I wasn't doing anybody" I quickly but nervously answered.

"I didn't say you were, I said what were you doing" he repeated himself.

"Oh... um...... I was in the shower" I kinda lied, considering I wasn't in the shower that long to miss TEN calls.

"Is everything okay" he was starting to catch on.

"Yes.. no.. I mean yes.. I mean no.. I mean I'm sorry I missed ten of your calls babe" I apologized.

"Mhm it's alright. Imma let you slide, this time" he thankfully dropped it. "Look, I got something to tell you" he told me as the tone in his voice changed.

"What's going on" I got worried.

"I'm going to Savannah for about two months" Jordan says.

"Why" I ask?

"A major family emergency, that's all my mom will tell me" he informed me.

"Oh my God, could it be that major" I was so confused.

"I have no idea" he says.

"But I'm gonna miss you" I pouted.

"And I'm gonna miss you more" Jordan says, "but when I come back we are gonna be reunited and it's gonna feel so good"

I giggle, "you promise"

"I put it on my manhood" he jokes. "But I gotta go pack, so imma talk to you later okay"

"Okay" I said as he hung up.

"What the hell am I gonna do" I said to myself.

"You again" I said when I answered my door, Sunday afternoon, to see it was none other than Ty.

"C'mon you was happier yesterday" he grinned.

"What do you want boy" I snap.

"Well, I wanted yo ass to come outside"  he snapped back.

"Why" I ask?

"I just wanna go to the park and chill, you know like old times" he proposed.

"Now you know it is too hot out there" I said.

"Just for like fifteen minutes and it got cooler" he begged.

"Fifteen?" I give a suspicious look.

"Fifteen minutes tops" he assured me.

"Mhm alright then, I ain't got anything else to do" I threw my flip flops on and headed out the door.

"So I heard Jordan moved to Savannah" Ty says on our way to the park.

"What are you talking about? How do you know?" I ask, surprised as ever?

"I know people" he grinned.

"Well he's just there for a month, he didn't move" I correct him, "why do you care"

"No reason" he said as we approached the park. "So what's going on with you" he asks as we hopped on the swings?

"Nothing much, just trying to figure out what I'm doing for Halloween" I said, "I think I'm just gonna be trick or treating with Kay and Kasey"

"You can trick or treat with me" he suggested.

"Um no thanks" I side eyed him, "aren't you gonna be chilling with your homeboys"

"You can chill with us" he suggested.

"I'm good I promise" I rejected as the thought of me getting passed around between him and his other DL brothas popped in my head for a quick second.

"Alright suit ya self. You never asked me how I was doing" he smiled at me.

"Okay, well how are you Ty" I ask?

"I been missing you" he grinned at me again.

"Well I'm right here" I joked, knowing good and well what he actually meant.

"You know what I mean" he gave me that "bitch, don't play" look.

"Could you just chill out" I begged him.

"Why you want me to chill" Ty said, getting up out of his swing.

"Because" I tried to push him away as he got closer to me.

"Because what" he grabbed me up and held me tight. I swear I was just about to melt right then and there.

"Ty let me go, I wanna go home" I demanded, even though I wanted him to pick me up and just do me right in the park.

"You want me to let you go" he gripped me slightly tighter.

"Yes" I snapped.

"Alright" he let go, "go, but I'll be back" he said as I rushed home so he wouldn't see me blushing.

There might be something there but I found a good man and I really don't wanna mess that up just for him to fuck me over again. I'll be damned......
