One by one the bikers introduced themselves by Fawn. It surprised her that these huge scary men were actually kind and sweet. When Wolf had informed her of the 'pink prank'. She had laughed and laughed as him and Ink had shown her the photos and explained the story of how his bike had ended up bright pink.
Fawn couldn't imagine her big biker on a pink bike. While Rider chased Wolf and Ink round the compound the rest of the bikers introduced them to her. It was Tank apparently, who had spotted her on the side of the road.
The blonde biker was the youngest fully patched member within' the club and closest to her in age, he was twenty although still older by her by three years. He informed her he had prospected for the club a year and a bit ago.
Prospecting he informed her, was a long and brutal process that lasted six months. Even after one had done the time it was up to the club to decide whether or not they let the prospect in.
There were 3 prospects currently. One was the brother of another biker called Ash who was out gate patrol. According to Tank it was not uncommon to have a rival club try to cause trouble.
Next to tank a huge silent biker who introduced himself as Gunner sat. Gunner looked scary. Fawn though that if it the adjective scary said, screw life as a word and came to life as a human being then it would come to life as the biker before her. He had a cold expression permanently implanted in his face, his jaw clenched and when he introduced himself he spoke in a very 'Me, Tarzan. You, Jane' kind of way - he barely spoke.
Ink told her that he was really a big 'teddy bear' when you got to know him. Fawn nodded keeping a cap on her thoughts that itched to point out that the so-called teddy bear looked more like a grizzly bear.
She was being introduced to Hawk, who was also there when Tank and Rider found her, when Rider came back into the club house. Fawn giggled when he glared at the bikers round them as muttered for them to 'stop crowding his girl'. With one cold glare from Rider the other Bikers scattered.
'Fawn,' Rider began seriously 'we are going to go to your warehouse to go cheek on the 'situation' there' he told her, avoiding the subject of the man she might have killed. Fawns heart fluttered at the care he was showing her. He deliberately didn't mention the man because he knew it would upset her. Besides from Chase no one had ever taken such care of her.
'O-okay' she stuttered, anxious to see what was to come. ' when do we leave?' she asked quietly. Looked done to her hands that she clasped in her lap. She heard a loud sigh above her before she felt another forehead press against hers
'Bambi, you're not coming' Rider told her calmly, talking in the tone on talked to a flightily animal. Fawn's head whipped up.
'What do you mean I'm not coming' she asked him incredulously 'My stuff is there and .... and I need to know' she told him trailing of at the end.
'After we have checked it out, you can come and get your stuff to bring back here' she told her still using his calming husky voice that almost felt like a verbal caress.
Fawn, slumped back in relief. She was stunted, Rider wanted to move her stuff here. Did that mean he wanted her to stay longer? When he had told her, she was staying here she had presumed he was talking about just intel she got back on her feet (literally). Fawn was shocked by Riders low husky voice flooding her senses
'What's going on in that head bambi?' she asked her.
'Just be careful' she told him sincerely. She had only met the biker the night before but already she felt this nagging sensation that if she lost him, her whole world would shatter.
'I will' he told her kissing the crown of her head.
Later Fawn kissed his cheek goodbye as him, Wielder, Ink and Wolf were setting off. Rider had taken tank aside and had a word with him, ever since he had gotten back the playful biker hand not let her out of the sight.
The goofy expressions on the faces of the biker duo known as Wolf and Ink were now replaced with stoic ones after Wielder had informed them of the 'mission'. The two Bikers had laughed when she had told them that us what she was calling it. They winked at her as the left the room to go and mount their bikers.
Turning to Rider, Fawn jumped into his out stretched arms.
'stay safe' she whispered into his cheat before ushering him out to his bike. She watched from the doorway of the club house as the four bikers roared out the gate.
