Chapter Thirteen

Time: 4:07 PM.
Place: WinnaRainbow Lakeside.

Amy, Rouge, Blaze, and Aleena walked together as they headed to the snack bar. Aleena looked to her right at Blaze "You okay?" She asked. Blaze looked at her and arched her brow "Yes...?" She said questioningly "I'm just making sure, I really don't like the creeps here." Aleena replied "I think Blaze can handle a guy talking to her." Amy said, crossing her arms "I'm well aware of that, Ames. I mean that it's better to have someone there to defend you, keep you safe. That guy annoys me, so I try to be cautious for Blaze." Aleena said. Rouge smiled at her "Hey, that's good partnership." She said "I guess, if you have a hero complex." Amy said "I'm sorry, who gave the snotty princess permission to speak? She's not even with the grown-ups." Aleena said, causing Amy to growl "You wish you were like me, doggy." She said "Why would I wish to be like you?" Aleena asked cockily. Amy then took out her hammer "Same reason you like being the center of attention, I'm sure." She said "Ooh, I've missed that hammer. Let's shed some blood, Rose." Aleena said.

Vector walked with Espio by his left side "How do ya think Charmy's doin'?" Vector asked "I'm sure he's alright. You miss him, don't you?" Espio asked with a warm smile "No! I was just, uh-" "It's okay, I miss him too." Espio interrupted the flustered croc. Silver levitated behind the two and smiled "Hey, guys." He greeted, causing Espio to turn around and smirk at hedgehog "What's up, besides yourself." He said, causing Silver to chuckle and float back down "I've been trying to find a vending machine, one that is actually full. Do you guys have change by chance?" He asked "Why ya needin' change?" Vector asked "Because that's all they can use. All I have are rings." Silver said.

Shadow walked along the trail with his eyes closed; enjoying the small breeze through his quills. Sonic snuck up behind the black hedgehog and tickled his sides, Shadow yelled out and glared at Sonic "You want your arms ripped off?" He asked angrily, causing Sonic to laugh "So you are ticklish then?" He asked before sighing. "Lighten up, Shadow. I was just playing around, I've been running around this place for so long I'm kinda bored." He said. Shadow arched his brow "So you come by to annoy me...how thoughtful." He said sarcastically "I can't be any more annoying than Adam." Sonic said with a smirk "Watch it." Shadow barked "Hey, I'm just being honest. Speaking of, what is it with you two? I know that she and you have a past and all, then again, Amy seems to have had issues as well. Maybe-" "What are you getting at?" Shadow asked, cutting Sonic off. Sonic then smiled awkwardly "Well, I'm happy that you have a friend, and she really seems to care about you, that's all. She's...different, but she's good." He said "Her name is Aleena, as for her and Amy, they just have a rivalry, like we do." Shadow said "Tr-" Suddenly a loud banging interrupted the Blue Blur, and the two hedgehogs looked at each other before running.

Vector, Espio, and Silver ran to the sound and saw a war "What's happening?" Silver asked "Amy and Aleena got into it." Rouge said plainly, Amy would swing her Piko-Piko hammer towards Aleena, but she would blast electricity and clone herself to dodge attacks. Sonic and Shadow ran up to the scene "Hey, whoa!" Sonic exclaimed as he rushed to Amy. Suddenly the two girls clashed; Aleena's body emanating electricity. Amy glared at Aleena "You tired yet?" She asked "Please, I'm just getting started, Ames." Aleena said with a wink. Suddenly Sonic got inbetween them "Let's not do this." He said "Dude, seriously! Let's finish this fight." Aleena snapped angrily "Aleena, enough." Shadow said sternly before he started to walk over "Sonic, let me win this." Amy begged "No, why are you even doing this?" Sonic asked "She started it!" Amy snapped "Don't act like you haven't enjoyed this." Aleena said "Enjoyment or not, this is over." Shadow said from behind her. Aleena's ears flattened before she looked back "We aren't quitting." She said, crossing her arms "Yes, you are." Shadow said sternly. Aleena then grabbed his shoulders gently.
