ENOUGH IS ENOUGH

A tragedy occurred.

Valentine's day was supposed to be about LOVE, PEACE, UNITY, FRIENDSHIP...

Instead, a horrible shooting occurred at a high school.

If any person is reading this book, there is a high chance you know about this tragedy...

Today is 3/14/18

Many schools nationwide have either opposed or allowed a silent protest.

This is known as a walkout.

My school did this today... However, some soulless students just wanted to get out of class.

I was some of the few who walked out not to skip class but of the few who walked out for the 17 lives lost.

May they rest in peace...

I would like to dedicate the next poem for their lives and those people who stood together to defend what they believe.
