~Chapter 2~
"Aria, I know you're freaked out but we need to get you to the nearest hospital like now. That gash in the side of your leg is bleeding badly. "
GASH! Sam just said that there is a gash at the side of my leg! Great, just wonderful. I hate blood. I faint on site. And now we need to go to a hospital because I possibly might need stitches. Another thing I hate. I know it may sound like I'm a baby but if you knew the stuff I went through last summer, you would understand.
"Okay, okay, we can go. But when I'm freaking out at the hospital I'm saying you dragged me there against my will." I said with sarcasm dripping off of each word I said
"Ha-ha, Aria you're just so gosh darn funny. But as you're best friend I advise you to get to the hospital now before you bleed to death."
"Fine." I'm really going to hate this.
"Okay, I'll drive since you're in no condition to do so yourself." Sam said with a smile on her face, knowing that I never let anybody drive my baby.
"Sam, just because I almost got ran over but you pushed me out of the way causing this horrible gash on the side of my leg, that by the way I can't even look at without feeling light headed, I'm still perfectly capable of driving my baby."
"Aria, please. In your condition, I bet you won't even be able to sit down in your 'baby' by yourself." Sam said with a smug smile on her face.
She does have a point. If I drive us, we will most likely crash into the nearest tree just like that freaky white-eyed-running- fast-hummer-guy.
Aria, stop thinking about that, I thought mentally slapping myself.
"Fine Sam, but this is the only time you will ever be in the passenger seat of my baby."
"Okay that's fine with me. Just get in so we can get you to the hospital." Sam said with satisfaction.
"Okay."
As we drove to the hospital and time ticked by, I started getting tired from all of the action or maybe it was the fact that my leg was bleeding profusely. The lack of blood in my system might make me tired. My eyes slowly closed and soon enough I was in dreamland........
*******CRASH********
I was awaken to my head banging on the dashboard and my bad leg hitting the door causing shock-waves of pain to go throughout my entire being. What. Happened? As I looked around myself to assess the situation all I could see was blood. Where did the blood come from? Wait were is Sam? The driver
seat, where my best friend Sam should be sitting was empty.
"Sam?" I called, hoping she was still somewhere close.
"Sam, this isn't funny where are you? And why did we crash?"
My skepticism turned into fear when a loud bang formed right behind me. I turned to see.... Sam? She was covered in blood, a puddle forming just around her neck and two puncture wounds. Tears sprang to my eyes as I held the lifeless body of the only person who I trusted, the only person who knew everything. How could this happen? She can't really be dead. I can't live without her. I won't. A scream erupted from very near. My lungs started to burn and I gulped for breath. At that moment I realized that the screaming was me. All the anger and sadness poured out of me with everything breath I took in. All of a sudden a deep tiredness overtook my entire body. As my eyes closed into an empty abyss of my frozen heart, all I could think about was why Sam? She was the only person who really understood my pain. She was the only person who knew what really happened at Junior's party. And most importantly she was the only person who comforted me throughout the entire thing. With that last thought I closed my eyes and leaned on my dead friends body just waiting for the endless pain to end.
Sooo.....what do ya think?
