Introduction:

Hey. I'm Hailey. I'm 18 years old and I live in the Bay Area but I was born in Massachusetts and my parents moved back there 3 years ago. I live with my best friend Samantha, she's 19. We've been friends since elementry and she's like my other half. I go to CitySyde High School. Sam and I are both seniors. Most obnoxious school ever, so many snobs and I hate every single one of them. What are ya gonna do though?

Chapter 1: Finally Friday!

"Hailey, are you seriously still asleep right now? I've been trying to wake you up for the past 10 minutes. Get up loser!" screamed Samantha from her bathroom. I pressed my lock button on my phone to check the time. 6:13. "Shut up Sam, you're not what you call a morning person either.", I joked. I pulled off my sheets and headed into my bathroom. I opened my shower curtain and turned the faucet on. While the water was heating up, I walked to my closet and grabbed a sunflower crop top and some high-waisted shorts. Even though I had no one to impress at school, I always had to dress decent. I jumped in the shower while Samantha finished curling her hair. She was wearing leggings and a Obey tee. I got out of the shower and got dressed, styling my hair in it's natural curly mop. I ran downstairs and grabbed my keys from the hook. Sam was already in the passenger seat of my Corola. "Off to the hell hole we go." I sighed.

Chapter Two: Summer Please Hurry, Please!

I pulled into my usual parking spot and get out, meeting Sam in the front of my car. I turn and look at her while saying, "2 more months, then we're free from this place. Summer break, then off to college we go!" I walk in through the front doors and see the same conceited, preppy faces. "I hate these people, why do they even exist?" Samantha whispers into my ear. I roll my eyes and reply, "Tell me about it.", as Samantha and I walk to our lockers. Her locker is right next to mine this year, which made my year not so crappy. We both grabbed our books and started off to our classes. "Meet you at your car later, love", Samantha said as she walked to her Algebra class. "Okay darling, see you later!", I shouted in her direction while walking in to English.

Chapter 3: FallenStars Park

After a long day of classes were over, Samantha and I decided to go chill at the park down the street from our house. We go there once in a while when we decide we need to get out for some fresh air. After stopping at Starbucks, we pulled into the parking lot across from the park. We grabbed a blanket from my trunk and found a tree to lay it out under. From the corner of my eye, I saw a tall, light-skinned boy. He was wearing a black tee with a flannel around his waist and tan cargo shorts. I turned my head to see his face and when I was facing him, he looked up from his phone. He noticed me examining his face and smiled. He was very handsome, piercing green eyesand bright, white, straight teeth. I will admit I was very attracted to him. "Hailey, are you checking that kid out?" Samantha said, making me realize I was staring. "Huh? What? No, no." I said starting to blush. The boy was now walking to Sam and I smiling, looking as if he had something to say to us. He approached us with his hand out looking me in the eyes, "Hey, my name's Kalin. I saw you over here and realized that you were very beautiful." With the words slipping through his soft, pink lips, I started to blush and shook his hand. Looking into his beautiful green eyes, I replied, "My name's Hailey and you aren't to bad yourself." Sam whispered into my ear,"I'll leave you two for couple minutes. Get his number, I'll go get us some ice cream." I looked at her with a face that said how grateful I was. She looked at me sincerely and smiled then winked. I giggled and looked back at Kalin. "I'd really like to get to know you and maybe hang out some time, can I get your number so we can make plans?", and with that he handed me his iPhone and I put in my number, smiling as I dialed each digit.
