Kalin and I had decided we would meet at my house to watch a couple movies with Sam, and he would pick up his best friend, Myles. Around 7, I heard a knock at my door. I opened it to see Kalin and a shorter, white boy standing behind him. "Hailey, this is Myles. Myles, this is Hailey." The boy who was now known as Myles hugged me. I hugged Kalin and let them into the house. Samantha was sitting on the couch in our living room flipping through Netflix to see which movies we could watch. I led the boys to the living room and introduced Myles to Samantha. I could tell Samantha liked Myles. They way she looked at his lips when he said each word, she just wanted to kiss him. I sat next to Kalin on the two-seater and Myles sat with Samantha on the bigger couch. Samantha had put on Insidious. Sam and I love that movie but for some reason we both get so scared. I cuddled closer to Kalin and he put his arm around my waist. I could see that Myles was whispering something into Samantha's ear and she was blushing. I wondered what was being said that was making her all giggly. I looked up at Kalin and kissed him on his prominent jawline.
Myles's POV:
Hailey's friend Samantha is bad, I like her a lot. She has the cutest laugh, and I'm gonna try to get her number for sure. I put my hand on her thigh as she snuggled into my chest. Maybe we could go on a double date sometime, Sam, Hailey, Kalin and I. Pulling a strand of hair behind her ear, I whispered into it. "You're very beautiful. I'd definitely like to take you out sometime." She started to blush and giggle. I looked over to my right and saw Kalin and Hailey on the other couch, cuddling. We watch the movie together and the girls huddled into our chest at the pop-out scenes. Tonight was one of the best nights I've had in a while. I kissed the top of Sam's head and as her eyes started to get heavier, I snuggled her into me, wrapping my arms around her. I looked over and saw Hailey and Kalin with a blanket over them and they were sleeping soundly, I closed my eyes and drifted off to sleep.
