Y/N's POV
"OMG." I scream as I jolt upright on my bed. My breathing increases but slows down as I take in my surroundings.
"Babe?" I hear a groggy voice behind me.
I turn and see Finn startled but tired.
"Are you okay?" He sits next to me.
"Yeah, I'm ok." I reply bluntly still shivering.
"Here." He grabs the duvet and wraps me in it.
"I'm sorry." I say embarrassed.
"Y/N don't be everyone gets nightmares." Finn reassured me stroking my hair.
I close my eyes in content and feel Finn's arms wrapped around my waist holding me tight.
"Do you wanna tell me what it was about?" He mumbles into my shoulder sending a warm sensation through my body.
"It was dumb honestly." I brush it off not wanting him to know about my stupid dream.
"Baby i'm sure it's not." He kisses my cheek sweetly.
I look at him for a while admiring his freckles that dotted around his face and sighed.
"Ok." I give in earning a cheeky smile from Finn.
"Basically I had this nightmare where we went to a party and you disappeared. I was looking for you and then I found you making out with some other girl. Someone much prettier than me."
He just stares at me not even blinking.
Then takes my hand and rubs it over with his thumb.
"Listen to me Y/N my beautiful best friend, soulmate and girlfriend." He looks at me deep with love and affection.
"I." He points to himself "am in love with you. And whoever that douche was in your nightmare definitely wasn't me."
I smile weakly.
"Look Y/N... I swear there's never a day in time that I think of being with someone else. You are part of me, my other half and so if I didn't have you then i'd be broken. Do you understand?" Finn says cupping my cheek.
A tear trickles down my face as I sniffle.
"You always know what to say don't you?" I joke.
Finn rolls his eyes in response.
"Well it's the truth." He says seriously.
"I know and i'm glad it is."
