The forest was silent. The only sounds that could be heard were the light dripping of rainwater, drizzling down the green leaves and to the dark soil. A sweep of lavender could be seen from the treetops. As the streak slowed the view of a young girl could be seen.

She could possibly be in her younger years. She had wide golden eyes and small lips with a sharp nose. Her clothes were cut nearly to pieces only leaving her in black rags. She was thin as if she hadn't eaten in days. She was shoeless the soles of her feet where dark and bruised from running for so long. She walked slowly knowing she couldn't keep moving. The young girl noticed a cabin, it seemed to be abandoned. She rushed to the cabin for shelter, she had to find a place to stay for the night. She hurriedly opened the door and shut herself in. The cabin was indeed not empty. A woman sat eyes closed with a blade in her lap. She opened her left eye and glanced at the small girl.

"And who might you be?" The woman said putting the blade aside and looking directly into the girl's eyes."Do I know you?"

The girl shook her head hesitantly and answered boldly. "I have never met you before but may I stay here? Ah, I forgot to say my name is Reino, and you are?" The girl said with confidence.

The woman simply nodded at the child and patted the spot beside her, signaling for her to sit. The child plopped onto the floor next to the dark-haired woman. The woman seemed to be in her late twenties with short dark hair and maroon eyes. Her yukata style shirt seemed to be decorated with a pattern similar to flowers blooming. Her pants a pitch black ending mid-calf fading into her worn blood red boots.

She lazily looked over at the girl and chuckled lowly at the very serious looking girl. " I have many names, but you may call me Daisy." She commented looking into the girl's eyes.

Reino looked around the boring room seeing the only thing out of the ordinary was the woman and her blade. Reino glanced warily at the sharp metal, decorated with yellow flowers she could not name. with a light and fine fragrance wafting from it. Daisy followed the eyes of the child to see she was looking at her beloved katana, Killer Daisy.

Killer Daisy was quite the work of art, beyond all comprehension and knowledge. She had not made it but was given it while on death row saying it would lead to her demise. She never learned what was wrong with it, but cut through a great number of guards with ease.  It seemed to be easy to wield so, she kept it. The blade seemed to have a mind of its own, slashing through all it came in contact with was slashed to death. The eeriest thing about Killer Daisy was that every now and then, you could faintly see the shadow of a body on the blade.

Daisy was not always named Daisy, of course, she did not by coincidence have the same name of a rabid beast blade that cuts through all it comes across. She took the name after her death row penalty was decided and given to her. She only used it as an alias to keep her peaceful life. After the massacre at the prison house, she never wanted to see so many corpses in one place ever again. The only safe place for her was the woods where she could keep Killer Daisy under wraps.

So as of now, she was a wandering swordswoman who stopped in one place for much too long. Now she has gotten herself into a bad situation, as of now, there was a haughty girl standing over her with prideful eyes. The girl had purple strands of hair and sky blue cold eyes. Reino had randomly ran into her temporary home and asked who she was, despite how she rudely she intruded.

"So, Daisy, can I stay here?" The girl said examining the shabby room with a calculating gaze. "I have no other place to go and this place seems quite alright." She promptly said, not leaving room for argument.
